New Coverings

Ed Coglin from New Coverings was incredibly helpful with my urgent rental apartment project. Facing a tight deadline, we decided, after consulting with Ed, to remove the carpets and sand the floors in three rooms. Ed's confidence and expertise assured us that, despite years of wear and their rough appearance, the floors would look fantastic after sanding and finishing. He was right; my wood floors now look amazing. Ed managed to complete the project, including sanding three rooms and applying three coats of poly, within the week.

Very fair price as an avid DIY guy, I'm pretty savvy on how to do stuff and pricing. Ed was more than fair. Great communication and the job came out fantastic. Highly recommend. Really good experience working together. He carpeted a winding set of stairs in our antique 1873 Victorian home in the back hallway. Tricky with all the pie wedges. The job came out clean and tightly fit. Very pleased and I always find something to complain about. Thanks Ed!!!

Ballpark cost from telephone description was way below actual quote from site visit. Actual quote was substantially the same as competitor. Very considerate moving and relocating furniture as directed.

I plan to hire him again for another project and urge anyone who is looking for a floor installer to hire Ed. I attempted to contact other installers and they never returned phone calls or emails. Ed did everything right. And his crew including Leo, Carlos, and Joe were exceptional as well. I have high standards and Ed and his business met and then exceeded those standards.

Quick response, had floor installed in a couple of days. The guys were amazing, quick, so professional, cleaned up spotless. Floor looks amazing. Love their work, would HIGHLY recommend.

Had a new kitchen floor installed with vinyl planking. Looks and feels like real wood and made our kitchen beautiful and modern. The whole process from picking out the product to the installation went smoothly and professionally. Highly recommend this company and the finished product. Great attention to detail. Excellent workmanship. The first time you talk with Ed you will like him, a nice down to earth person. His crew did a wonderful job installing my floor they took their time, no short cuts., no rushing to get the job done.. The finished floor exceeded my expectations. Would hire Ed again in a heartbeat. If you want a quality job done at a fair price you should hire him as well.

There a few problems, but on the whole I was pleased. The price was right and the two kitchen floors look wonderful except for the little splatters of glue on the baseboards and no kick plate installed in my tenants kitchen. The rugs look wonderful. They were very polite and knowledgeable.
