Worse experience ever. He did not finish the job and his workers all complained about not getting paid from him. In the end, we were 3 months behind schedule and he bailed on the project and kept all the payments. Do not use this guy.

This contractor comes in and lures you in with personal stories, and a polished presentation.  He tells stories about all the projects he has done in the past and all the large construction companies he has run.  He starts out strong, but within one day of starting he begins to not show up, leave huge messes behind, and his work quality is questionable at best. From crooked tile floors, improperly finished floors, crooked walls and awful sheetrock work. Steve loves to take on new projects both for you and other clients before he finishes projects, and listens and jumps on projects uninvited. When any complaints or concerns are addressed at Steve he immediately becomes aggressive and demands ridiculous amounts of money for things he either didn't do, didn't do properly, wasn't invited to do, etc. he also stole a good number of things from the home he was working on.  Be careful of Steve's pricing by the square foot for flooring, he does a poor job then claims the floors are 2-3 times the size they actually were. This is why he quotes such low prices, he says 3 or 4 per square foot, then completes a 32 square foot area and claims it was over 100 square feet. When presented with facts, he begins to become aggressive and talks about all the time he had to put in, how he has a family, etc.  Reason does not come into play with this polished scam artist. . My family had concerns about potential drug abuse as his behavior was erratic and strange.  This contractor has moved from Massachusetts where he is listed here, and has moved on to new scams in New Hampshire. Be very wary of this guy.  He destroyed the home he was working on, left a huge mess, and stole from us not only things from the home he was working on, but also the money we paid him that he ran off with without completing any projects properly.  AVOID THIS CONTRACTOR AT ALL COSTS

He's just awesome. He started to do the front deck last week but then stopped so he could finish a deck in Massachusetts. Once the rest of the parts came in, they're here finishing the deck now. He's gonna build my back deck too because we're so happy with the way that he did the front. It was a neighbor of a friend and we met him and we had a dinner with him to start talking to him and that's when he explained. His professionalism stood out. He explained what his ideas are. He takes into consideration what you would like. He explains stuff every step of the way. A girl friend of mine asked if he removes wallpaper and painting and he's gonna go over to give her an estimate on what it would cost.
