Beth Doughty, a Graduate Gemologist (GIA), is the only appraiser in the United States to have attained the titles of Master Gemologist AppraiserĀ®, and Certified Master Appraiser, NAJA. She also holds the title of Accredited Senior Appraiser from ASA. Steve Doughty holds the designation of a Numismatic Scholar from the American Numismatic Association. He is a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors as well as the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers. He is one of a very few qualified appraisers of coins and watches whose business is solely appraising coins and watches. We will appraise your personal valuables at one of our convenient locations in Winchester Massachusetts or Kennebunk Maine. We are also available to travel to your secure location with our portable gemological laboratory. The appraisal meeting was about an hour long. Beth called me a few days later to let me know when she'd completed the report. I received in via mail a few days after that, about a week after our in-person meeting. It was beautifully put together, easy to read, and comprehensive.
