COLLINS MANAGEMENT INC

This is an apartment management company and they manage the Oaklahoma Apartments in Stoneham, MA. We went to see the apartment in Dec 2013 and we liked the apartment so we gave him (the guy's name is Chris) the check of $150 as deposit, out of which he had to keep $20 for 2 application (for me and my wife). And we were waiting for the response from him about our application. Till 20th Jan 2014 we had no answer whether we have the apartment or not. so we applied at another apartment, just to be on safe side as we had to move out our current apartment on 31st Jan 2014. And the other application was approved in a Day and we got the apartment. So we called Chris that we have got the other apartment and we are not interested in yours (at that movement also he had no answer about our application), so please return our deposit money. Now the worse part starts as he had to send me the money back. In the next call he would not recognize us, then we had to remind him. In one of the call he said, i have to check with the management company if they have your information. we called minimum 25-30 times to this guy to get our money. Finally in end of February 2014 we received the check of $130 ($20 taken for the application for which he never gave us an answer.) Anyways but after 2 months we got our money. It's not about the money but the kind of attitude they have towards customer is not professional. This is not professional company to work with. I am really disappointed. We are glad we didn't take that apartment, so that we don't have to deal with this company anymore.
