Two Men & A Truck

We had the most horrible experience with this group. They assured us they could finish our move in a day, but on move day informed us of a 7pm deadline. They left multiple boxes and furniture in our garage and somehow lost two large bins and a handful of miscellaneous items. I called and emailed half a dozen times over the course of 6 weeks before filing with BBB (which they ignored) and the AGO, which they finally responded to THREE MONTHS LATER. They took no responsibility for the lost items and offered to “finish the job”, which was entirely meaningless three months later, and ultimately offered a partial refund but now AGAIN won’t respond to me. I’ve never in my life been treated this way by a moving company

It went great.. they came early, did a great job, very professional & the price was lower than the estimated price.. The Wilmington location are great. I will definitely use them again... thank you to Mike and his movers..

I knew hiring people to help us move our larger furniture would be worth it. In hindsight, it was the smartest thing we did this entire experience of moving. Caitlyn B., the estimator that helped me coordinate all of the details from day 1, clearly communicated with me through email and gave me an estimate of the services I described to her. The day of our move, Nick A. called to let me know that the team was on their way to me and would arrive earlier than the window they had provided. He and the team showed up about 45 minutes early, trying to get ahead of some of the heat. They went through all of the paperwork and releases with me. Hector F. explained each part of them with me, making sure I understood what they said and that I was in agreement with what they were. As soon as we finished that part, Nick, Hector and Shawn B. went to work... and I mean work. I gave them a house tour, let them know what pieces of furniture weren't going with us and they just started hauling things. Turns out, it was the hottest day of the summer so far with a heat index well over 100 degrees. These 3 didn't slow down one bit. They carefully wrapped every piece of furniture, protected the doorways of my home and loaded our entire life onto the truck. They drove it over to the new home and did it all again, backwards. Every piece of furniture was unloaded and put in the room it was labeled for. It took 6 hours of nearly non-stop work, but these guys were on top of it. I truly couldn't have gotten a better team to help my husband & I move into our new home. Their professionalism was through the roof. The project manager also arrived on site at the home we were leaving as well as the home we were moving to, to check on the team and to check on the job. He brought in waters and checked on everyone's safety. It wasn't until the end of the day that I found out that it was one of Shawn's first days on the job! There was one item damaged during the move. Hector let me know about it, showed me the item damaged and completed a damage report. Considering the amount of stuff we had moved, 1 thing was bound to get hurt. I appreciated the clear communication and was glad to have purchases the damage insurance because accidents happen. Advice to my fellow service hirers: these guys aren't robots and on a day like I had, keep plenty of cold water on hand... keeping everyone hydrated and making sure safety was a priority made me feel a lot better. The team I worked with put 100% into their day and in turn, made our moving experience a positive one. I would absolutely hire them again and it was worth every penny! Thanks Hector, Nick & Shawn!! You guys are the best!

They were great. Very professional. friendly, and efficient.

Sofa scratched badly because the team failed to take the door off before "pushing" the sofa through the doorway. I filed a complaint and they never followed up.

Excellent. They made a long, grueling process manageable!

A supervisor called saying one of the movers was in a car accident but would send a replacement right away. Sent an extra mover (4 total) who were punctual and professional. I moved many of the small boxes myself ahead of time so cost/time was slightly below my estimate. Was overall very pleased.

It went horribly. They were moving furniture from our house to an apartment above the garage. Refused to take the door to the apartment off "oh, it will fit" and ended up making huge gashes in the wood furniture. Filed a claim and never heard anything or received any recompense.

Two Men and a Truck met my personal needs in making this move. Due to age and health issues I was unable to accomplish the tasks of moving I took for granted years ago in my youth. Without family nearby, Two Men and a Truck stepped in "like family" let me relax, while they completed the task. The packers carefully packed my items, asked questions when needed and worked diligently on a hot day. The packers, management and office staff made sure I was satisfied every step of the process. The cost remained reasonable considering all the aspects specific to my move and my needs. I have recommended this company to several individuals and an organization for senior citizens who may need the services provided in my move.

We could not have been happier with our decision to hire Two Men and a Truck to move our heavier furniture items to our new house. We'd planned to move it all ourselves but as we got closer to the move date, reality hit us over the head and we realized we couldn't do it all ourselves. Three weeks before the move, I contacted Two Men and a Truck, who a coworker had recommended, and Kim in the office could not have been nicer! She easily scheduled us and answered any question I had. Our move included a second stop to an offsite storage unit to pick up a heavy bureau and that was not an issue. Moving day, I got a call from one of the movers, who told me they'd be arriving at around 8, which was earlier than expected by a half hour. I'll take a half hour early over a half hour late any day! Pat and Keith got right to work and even accommodated our on-the-fly request to move a couple more items than we'd originally intended. They were professional, expedient, gentle with our belongings, personable, and easy-going. They had a couple of challenges in getting our sofa out of the apartment (not unlike the delivery men who scratched it on the door when they delivered it originally) and fitting our box spring up the tight stairway in the new house. But Pat figured both out in no time and nothing was damaged. While I have no desire or plans to move again anytime soon, I would not hesitate to use Two Men and a Truck.

We actually had three men and a truck. Kwesi, Cornell and Ravelle were courteous, professional, hard-working, friendly, and a great team! Their positive attitudes helped us relax throughout the move. When we were uncertain about a piece of furniture, they patiently unwrapped it for us then rewrapped and moved it to where we wanted. We had a narrow staircase and they found a way to exceed our expectations in what they were able to move up it. They took the stress out of the move and actually finished earlier than the estimated time! We certainly would use Two Men and a Truck again...would recommend this company...and specifically this team!
