Sebastiao visited the site and met with church representatives (Angie's List Members) to discuss alternatives. It was determined that replacing the existing laminate counter-top in the kitchen was the most cost effective solution to updating those surfaces. He suggested that granite scraps would fit for the 3 small counters and one back splash needed for bathroom and we chose to go along. He had his floor refinishing man visit to estimate cost for redoing the floors. His price for the total job was less than several others for the floors alone. He came, he did the work, he cleaned up, and the results were spectacular.

I was visiting friends in the Boston area and accidentally turned an electric burner on under a glass Pyrex casserole dish. It exploded, showering the kitchen laminate counter with blisteringly hot shards of glass that burned the countertop wherever it landed. Because my friends rent their condo (and I was leaving in three days), it was vital that I have the counter top replaced as soon as possible. I made several calls, and Sebastian was the only one who made time in his schedule to come over that very evening after leaving his current jobsite to give me an estimate. He could not have been nicer or more professional. I also have never met anyone in construction that clean after a day's work. He clothes and shoes were spotless. He measured everything and offered different solutions with different budgets. He brought a huge number of samples, and we actually found the exact match for the countertop. Because the laminate was in one sheet, I made the decision to replace it all so it would look exactly like it had originally. Sebastian knew the time pressure I was under and was able to take care of the job by coming in the following morning before he went to the job he was currently working on and removing the entire counter top to take back to his shop. He and his helper were extremely careful and conscientious. There was no dirt or debris of any kind left behind. He re-laminated the counter top and had it all reinstalled in less than 48 hours. It was impossible to tell anything had ever happened. The kitchen looked exactly as it had before the accident. Sebastian was really great. He understood the situation I was in, and bent over backwards to take care of the problem. His pricing was very fair and his work exceptional.

He was good! He did his own measurements in contrast to going by my measurements. He came in and all we had to do (after picking which laminate) was stand back and let them take over the process. They did an outstanding job.
