Excellent!! He did a great job and it looks wonderful. He protected everything in the rooms, was very neat and cleaned up everything. I would recommend him highly. He also discussed the right colors to choose and was very helpful in making that decision. I would certainly use him again

Outstanding experience from beginning to end. Neil was responsive, helpful, courteous and professional. He always kept everything neat, clean and did an amazing paint job on each room. he needed to do some significant repair of walls and they came out so smooth. He also did a bunch of extras that we had not even seen. He was a real pleasure to have around and the end result makes us so proud. We had a family coming in the week after and the house looked brand new! I HIGHLY recommend Neil if you want a beautiful paint job with no hassles or annoyances. We are already asking him to come back and paint other rooms!

Neil was recommended to us via another painter we had used before, who had worked with Neil but was unable to take our job. We're very glad we found Neil! He showed up every day, communicating what time he was expecting to arrive, and was pleasant to chat with before I left for work. When we got home, everything was always left tidy. This job was all tough detail work, and Neil did a great job with it, making sure to get to every item on our long list, and even suggesting a few items to us. Highly recommended!

.Very well. Neil very carefully covered the floors and furniture. The work was completed on time (we had a tight deadline). He cleaned up completely and the ceilings look so much better.

Excellent. I usually do these types of jobs myself and was a little reluctant to have someone else complete the work. However, I was quickly at ease with after consulting with Neil. He also was able to perform the work in the time frame we needed. Neil provided an approximate job time of five to six days, and finished the job ahead of schedule. I didn't like the shade of a color I selected for the trim. Neil was very accommodating. offered suggestions, took the time to paint another section a darker color and send me picture to compare (I was at work) so I could make a final decision. That extra attention and thought was truly above and beyond. He could have easily just requested what color I wanted to change to. The easy communication made the whole experience smoother and less stressful. The outcome was spectacular and the wife and I were impressed and happy with the result. Neil was prompt, efficient and worked full days from the jobs start to its finish. He was respectful of our home and furnishings and also if someone from the family was home during the work. I would recommend Neil Clapp with no hesitation. He did an great job, and will be looking to rehire him as other rooms require painting.

Neil came to take a look and saw we were in a very difficult situation. Thanksgiving was less than 3 weeks away and we were having house guests. He reached out to some of the contractors that he has worked with and they gave him a few recommendations of contractors that would be able to fix this job. Because of Neil, we found an amazing, honest and talented stair contractor. He agreed to take the job and shuffled his schedule around in order to fit us in right away. Every single thing the first contractor installed had to be ripped out completely. Neil was much more than accommodating. He tried to keep a few dates open in order to let the stair contractor get most of his work done first and then he would come in and paint. Neil and his staff came in the Monday of Thanksgiving week and worked alongside the stair contractor to get the hallway/foyer painted. Our hallway/foyer is very narrow and tight so working conditions were not great. Trying to coordinate painting while the stair contractor was drilling and trying to finish up the stairs before Thanksgiving was definitely a challenge for them. They worked for 3 long days, pretty much non-stop to get the foyer to a point where it was presentable again. When they were finished, it looked absolutely beautiful. Watching the way that all worked together was the most amazing thing we have ever seen. Neil returned the Monday after Thanksgiving and worked for 4 straight days to put a second coat of paint on all the new woodwork, skirt boards, risers and walls. He also stained and polyurethaned the new banisters to match the new stair treads. He makes it a point to find out what things are going to be re-hung on the walls and puts the hardware back on when he is done painting. He filled every nail hole from things that were not going to be re-hung. He also made several repairs to the walls and caulked all the seams on all the new trim. We had been living an absolute nightmare since April due to the first contractor. Neil purposely kept his schedule open to make sure we had a beautiful hallway/foyer for Thanksgiving and then came back this week and completed everything to absolute perfection. Our little home has never looked so beautiful. We didn't even have to be home when he was working. At the end of his work day, he made sure to lock up and he even put the outside lights on and put a light on in the foyer so I wouldn't have to come home to a dark house. We have never had any contractor work in our home that treated our home and us with complete respect. I don't know how we got so lucky to have Neil and the stair contractor that he found for us help us repair our home and get our lives back on track. He has gone over and above, painting our hallway/foyer, including answering the door and accepting delivery of UPS packages. His work ethic is absolutely second to NONE!!! But more importantly, we really cannot say enough about this wonderful and decent person. This world needs more people like Neil. We think the world of him and now we are lucky enough to call him a friend.

I can't say enough about this company. They were prompt,professional, polite and proficient. They arrived on time, gave and followed through on a very reasonable cost estimate. They work was excellent quality. I can and will use them again.

Neil works magic when it comes to touching up wood work. He has a great eye for matching the exact right color stain for the job. He followed through on all jobs as promised and was very professional.

Excellent! Neil is an exceptional craftsman and professional. He communicates extremely well regarding the job verbally and in email. The work was done on schedule and at the estimated price. I've used many paint contractors over the past 35+ years. Neil is the best. The cabinets and trim look better than when we bought the house 25 years ago.

Fabulous. They were meticulous both during and after the work. They were punctual, friendly and clean. I have since recommended them several times.

Very well. Neil patched a 4" x 4" hole, and a seam in the dry wall where the paper tape had wrinkled. When he was done, the wall looked like new.

Excellent! Neil and his team were very careful when removing wall paper and doing the prep work prior to painting. I was very pleased to see they used top quality paint and the precise attention to detail as they painted. Neil was also very helpful in suggesting colors that coordinated with the surrounding rooms. The final product was fantastic, very pleased!

Outstanding! Neil, is at my home as i write this! Spotless, perfectionist, a kind and polite man! the painting is outstanding, going a med gray over terracotta colored walls, not one drop of the old color showing. A fair , honest ,hardworking man, I highly recommend him!

Neil is easily one of the best contractors we have ever worked with.   He is professional, punctual, neat, reliable, considerate, knowledgeable and does high quality work for a fair price.  We were pleased from beginning to end of our project, including with  Neil's level of responsiveness, scheduling, and his willingness to work within our hectic schedules. Neil has experience and training and it shows in the final work product.  - which is simply beautiful.   He was considerate of our pets and our home, kept work areas super neat and left not a drip of paint or a speck of dust in our house when he left.  Based on our experience, I am confident you will not find a better painter than Neil! 

Neil did an excellent job painting our home.  He is very methodical and meticulous in his work and responsive to emails and questions.  He was also very courteous about the needs of our family while the work was being done.  We would recommend him highly.

Neil is an extraordinary craftsman.  He is meticulous, paying close attention to all the customer's needs.  Neil does A+ quality work, cleans up every last grain of dust, and is on time and works around your schedule.  He does all this at an affordable, fair price.  He is Honesty personified, telling us what we needed and didn't need.  There are many questions when it comes to home maintenance, but when it is time for interior painting, from ceilings and walls to murals and artistic applications, there is no question about who to call when you need a great painter.  Neil is the man to have in your house; he treats it like it's his own.  Highly recommended.  Just don't call him when I need him!

Neil's work is exceptional. The end result is very well done. Throughout the process is very careful to respect the property and keep everything neat and clean.He is reliable and communicates well. He has a great eye for color and is very supportive in the decision making process.  He helped us look at several color and finish options.  We would hire him again. 

I would recommend him to anyone looking for careful, efficient and responsive service.  His clean up was particularly impressive - hardly a trace that he had been there.

We were so pleased. Neil has a great eye for color and was able to fix all the damage while staying on time and on budget. It was remarkable how he was able to keep track of my random list of things that needed painting. Neil was careful to be sure we were getting what we wanted. He was great to work with and most of all our house looks spectacular ! We would definately hire him again.

Our great room is HUGE. Neil had to bring in staging to do this room including scaffolding and floor covering/taping for the entire room. Neil and Bob were great about communicating with us all along the way. Very professional and did an amazing job. Our great room looks like an entirely new space. They always came when they said they would, each day left the place clean and safe. We are new to MA and they were great about giving us information about the community. Highly recommend!!
