Harrisun Systems

Our solar hot water heater was 10 years old and developed a bad leak.  Besides my wife and I, we rent out an apartment to vacation renters, so getting a the old tank replaced and a new one installed was extremely important.  Don was awesome at communication and getting us hooked up with an appropriate solar tank the next day!  He and his assistant, Dave (been with him for 30 yrs!) did an outstanding job, installing the tank, making clean solders and retrofitting the new tank in perfectly.  I highly recommend Harrisun Systems for any of your plumbing needs, they were responsive, understanding, professional, and all around good guys.

Donald Harrisun made an otherwise complicated project much easier. He was punctual, candid, knowledgeable and responsive. Would highly recommend.

Went great. In fact, I had work done from another vendor on a different issue in my house and it caused the electricity to be shut down affecting Harrisun's prior work.  The vendor wouldn't return but one call to Harrisun and they came out and set the issue straight.  And it wasn't there issue.

We have used Harrison Systems for over 20 years and have always found them to be knowledgeable, professional and courteous.  We have never had a problem with any of their work.

Excellent installation. The system works beautifully to provide all hot water in warm months, and pre-heated water for oil-fired hot water system in cold months. The system is trouble-free and completely satisfactory. These folks are experts.

Don Was great to work with! He came out last fall as I was trying to determine what needed to be done to repair the disaster left for me by Advanced Energy Systems (that was SUPPOSED to include a full 5 year parts and labor warranty). 

He then gave me a list of things that needed to be done, new panels acquired (through warranty) new pump system (through warranty) and also some additional plumbing issues that would be addressed while we had the system apart. He also gave me a quote at this point after he went home and wrote up what the repairs would entail.

When I called him to tell him I had everything ready to install, he gave me a few days that he was available that week, and showed up on time. He and his team were very nice, and have been in the business for a long time, so they knew what they were doing. They did a great job of performing good work, and cleaning up afterwards. I had one concern regarding leaks from a prior coupling, and he made every effort to clean up the connection and make sure that the issue wasn't going to be a problem this time.

Don went above and beyond, and also helped me work to get additional funds from the solar panel company, as their product had failed 1 year into a 10 year warrantied period, and he felt that was completely unacceptable (I agreed!)

Additionally Don called me a few days later to check and make sure everything was running without issues and has offered to stop by to take a quick look when he is in the area again.

It was difficult to get Don to return phone calls at first, but once he came out to do an estimate, he was engaged and consistent. He was knowledgeable and followed through on everything he said he would do, working quickly and efficiently with one other man. He cleaned up beautifully and thought about little things, like being careful to remove and protect a hosta that was in the way of where the pipes needed to go. The system is simple to use and works wonderfully - I would recommend solar pool heating and Don's work to anyone. While the cost looks high, it was the same amount to add a gas burner (we have a large pool), and we will not have to buy fuel. We also don't have to feel guilty about using a limited resource and polluting.
