This is a great company. It is the second time I have used them. They restored the original chair and ottoman perfectly and now these two pieces, which were over 50 years old look new while the shape and seat and comfort are true to the original design.

After obtaining quotes from several upholsterers, I decided to go with Classic Upholstery based on their reviews, price, and timeline. Craig met me at my house with fabric swatches. I chose the one I had in mind, but he found a similar one with slightly more contrast saying that the one I had chosen would probably blend in with my walls too much. I decided to trust him. 6 weeks later, my armchair was finished, and my jaw dropped when I saw it: absolutely gorgeous. Surpassed my highest expectations. I'm so glad I went with Craig's fabric recommendation; he certainly knows his stuff. Chair is like new -- minus the frame, of course. I shared photos of the "new" chair with friends and family, and all of them were stunned with how well it turned out; one even called it, "Seriously stunning, an art piece". Now I just need to find somewhere suitable in my dinky house to show it off in all its glory! My only gripe with this whole experience would be that I was quoted 4 weeks for this work which had me expecting it to be finished at the very end of July, but it wasn't ready until yesterday, 8/17. I wasn't on any hard deadline to need the chair though, so no harm, no foul.

All of these pieces have been rejuvenated by the fine work of Classic. The altar boy chair was delivered to Classic as a frame and seat springs. I chose a material that was in stock because it went well with one of the other pieces. They reinforced the frame and installed the new fabric using the springs that I brought.

When I left the frame chairs, I mentioned to David that I didn't think it was possible anybody could ever sit on them again. He assured me that they would be fully functional when returned to me. He was correct: they are more solid than they have been for years. He also recommended that we not try to clean the needlepoint because of the risk of fraying the edges of the material. The needlepoint design was originally done by my wife's grandmother, so we did not want to risk it. The plan was to use air pressure to blow the dust off of the material and the result exceeded my expectations. The chairs are both solid and beautiful and another customer complimented me on them when I picked them up.

The settee had a loose leg and the webbing on the bottom was loose and hanging down. To my delight, they were able to glue the leg and repair the webbing without taking the piece apart or removing the existing upholstery. The webbing repair completed the job and made the seat useable again. They took care not to soil or damage the existing upholstery. Another Classic customer also admired this piece when I picked it up.

I will use Classic Upholstery for another antique restoration project that I have.

They were expensive but good. They have to come back and fix something they did not do correctly. It's hard for me to rate the price because I'm new in the area although I wasn't prepared for that kind of money. They were friendly, professional, flexible and in general, very good people.

Our experience was just perfect from start to finish. I spoke with David Wilson first on the phone, and he suggested we bring pictures of the chairs and stop in any time to pick out fabric. When we arrived, he was extremely helpful and patient and showed us lots of samples. We finally picked out a fabric and arranged a time to have the chairs picked up. They were picked up exactly on time, as scheduled, and were returned to us completed in less than two weeks. We are so happy with them! They are very much better looking than the last time we had them done (about 30 years ago). They are also more comfortable to sit on, with the springs redone, etc. I would recommend Classic Upholstery to anyone looking for good professional work of this sort.

Craig Wilson came to my home to look at the love seats, and provide an estimate for the labor portion of the job, which was in addition to the cost of fabric. After I chose the fabric and the order was placed, about two weeks later the fabric arrived at Classic Upholstery. I was called to arrange pick-up of the two love seats. Two weeks after pick-up the love seats were returned. They look like new. Classic Upholstery did a beautiful job, and I am extremely pleased with the result. The quality of workmanship exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this company.

Had two ottoman's redone. They had unique problems and the job was a difficult one. I was very pleased with the results

David and Craig were very pleasant to work with. They picked up our furniture, repaired the chair and reupholstered both the chair and the sofa. They were very professional and got all the work done and brought the furniture back by the date we needed it. The furniture looks lovely. Craig and his assistant even went the extra mile when they brought the furniture back. They very nicely took one piece of our old furniture into our back room and took an old beat up chair out to the curb for us. They were super! We would not hesitate to use their company again and we would recommend them to anyone looking to reupholster their furniture. It was a bit expensive, but we think it was well worth it.

We went to their shop in Wilmington, looked at catalogs, brought a few home and then made a decision. Each person we came into contact with was extremely helpful. The workers came, removed the couches. When the couches were ready, we got a call, they were delivered and set up carefully. Also, the order was completed more quickly than we expected. There was one small hitch which they were very happy to fix immediately but we were happy with the delivered couches. [One of the couches was to have a different fabric design from the other, but once we saw the couches in our living room, we were glad that different fabrics were not used. We also got a check for the difference.]

Wonderful. Plan to return with my old love seat soon.

They came over to give us an estimate to do the couch and brought some fabric books. A week or so later we brought the books into the store, looked at some other fabric and picked out a pattern.
About 2 weeks later they picked up the couch and returned it completed in about 2 weeks more.
