Steve, Brian and the team did a great job! The home we recently purchased was already wired for tv w/ surround sound in living room + three additional zones but none of the audio capability was functioning at all, in fact, we had wires, lots of wires hanging out of our wall; it was ugly. Steve, Brian and the team fixed all of that. No more wires, wall is plated and I have an HDMI in-wall input instead. All router, receiver, amp hardware, etc is set up nice and neatly in basement in wall-mounted rack. It's awesome looking. I control everything through 1 remote or app on my iPhone. I can stream audio to all 4 zones + I have unreal surround sound in living room! Aztec installed a new frame tv and partnered with Next Level Acoustics who made custom speakers for the living room (slick, custom center channel) and they installed a sub woofer in my wall! The sound is amazing. You can feel the bass but it's not overpowering, it's so clear; you can tell the sound was tuned for the room. I can't wait to work with Aztec again for phase 2 of the smart home upgrade; lighting, security, etc....

I would highly recommend Aztec Sound and Communications for any home theater or sound system work. We had an older projector that stopped working and a sound system that was not working well even after the original install by another home theater outfit. The team from Aztec came up with a cost effective solution that not only got us a better projector but a much more user friendly control system and they cleaned up a mess of wires from sloppy work done by a previous outfit that now only does commercial work (too bad for the commercial customers). Aztec came when they said they would come, installed, cleaned up the wiring mess, rebalanced the sound system so it now sounds great and made the controlling of the system so much easier, and they also spent the time to train me on the new controls. Steve was always communicative and kept me abreast of progress at all times. A rare outfit with competence in an era that is lacking it.

When I was looking for a person/company to help us out with upgrading our home entertainment equipment, I came across Aztec Sound and Communication and decided to give them a call. Steve Golden came to our home on a short notice and provided a wealth of valuable advise and suggestions. I was very impressed with how timely - and in most cases instantaneously - he responded to my numerous edits along the way until we arrived to our final configuration. Installation was scheduled seamlessly and shortly and his crew arrived right no time. They were extremely professional, respectful of my home and took even step to ensure that installation area is clean and free of debris at all times. There was an unforeseen network issue during the installation and their patience and diligence in finding a workaround was close to none. They spent the entire day working on my project trying to get everything communicating to each other and teaching me how to operate it afterwords. What should not take longer than a few hours turned into a full day challenge. They handled everything with incredible patience and professionalism. In addition, I was very impressed with cleanliness and wire management. Steve followed up the next day making sure that everything is working and up to my expectations - and it was. I called Aztec with a rush job to mount two TV. Steve came in same day to look at the job and had a proposal to me in less than 24 hours. Work was completed the following week. The whole team was extremely professional and friendly. I would definitely work with Aztec again!

I needed two tv’s hung, which included moving electrical outlets and concealing wires in the wall, and contacted Aztec. I found Aztec Sound and Communications as a result of an internet search, and I am so pleased that I did! We wanted a large TV or monitor installed on a wall at work, to be able to mirror the computer and allow clients to clearly see their account information, to display Power Point presentations, and various work-related programs. Rob, the owner, expertly guided us in deciding on the best hardware to suit our needs, right down to which wall would be best. Two days later, his technicians arrived promptly, performed all of the prep-work, electrical work, and installed a 55" frame TV. They were quite obviously skilled at what they do. Our clients absolutely love it, as do we! The technicians also worked on our existing reception area TV: mounted the set top box to the back of the TV, and re-did the wiring in order to hide an unsightly cable from the back of the TV. Thank you, Rob, and everyone at Aztec Sound and Communications, for the wonderful job!! We couldn't be happier!!

Amazing. He did everything that I needed done, in a timely manner. He was also available to answer questions and troubleshoot if I couldn't figure things out. Couldn't ask for better service. Knows his stuff! Oh, and he also works neatly. Not a spec of anything when he finishes and put cords another pieces of equipment out of site whenever possible.

I had Aztec install an updated home theater system in the family room of my home. Rob came to the house to view the space and offered some great suggestions regarding how best to use our space and what equipment upgrades I might consider. The installation was done by Brian and Doug, who worked efficiently and completed a beautiful installation. I am delighted with the end result, both in terms of "look" and performance. The Aztec team is a skilled and experienced group. I would readily recommend them to anyone considering a home theater installation. My project cost included a new Sony Bravia 65" television, a new Denon receiver, Roku, and a Logitech Elite universal remote. All of the wiring was done behind the walls which required a good deal of labor time. I also had them take my older television (an 11 year old Sharp Aquos) and mount it over the fireplace in our living room. That set was coupled with a Sonos Beam--small in size but wonderful sound.

The work was done very well and professionally. It was a short, 2 day job. The work area was kept reasonably clean and they did a very professional install. I like how they stayed late on the last day to show me how it all worked after I returned home. I am very happy with their work and would use them again.

Rob is super smart and reliable. I have used his services for 20+years on many projects. I will be hiring him again this fall for the audio/visual systems on the renovation of my own home.
