professional. We would definitely hire him again.
The project was done exactly on time. When we decided to hire Steve, he let us know when he could schedule the work and he was true to his word. He started exactly when he promised and the project was done right on time. Steve showed up early each morning and worked a full day. He completed most of the work himself, bringing in a helper for some of the heavy, non-precision work (such as digging holes for footings).
Steve is very exacting and precise. He consulted us on any design decisions and was knowledgable about complying with building code.
Although he recommended mahogany, when we explained that we wanted low maintenance, he was willing to work with composite decking and did a beautiful job. He showed a great deal of attention to detail, using top notch materials and custom (invisible) fasteners to attach the decking.
He cleaned up up all debris and left not a speck of mess behind. We do not hesitate to recommend him.
