We have a trip planned, so I was hoping to get it looked at quickly. I called early in the morning and they said they were booked all day but could squeeze me in to take a look at it. I brought the car in around
8:30 AM and they looked at it within a half hour! All looked good! He said belt probably got wet (we were driving in rain
when problem occurred) and slipped, but everything looked fine. He said and quot;I can do
something with it if you really want me to, but I don't think it needs any workand quot;. How refreshing! I happily paid the very reasonable bill and was on my way! Everyone at shop was friendly and professional, we will definitely go back for future repairs.

John (the owner) researched the error codes before he would open up the transmission. He did not want to run up a bill just for fact finding. After a few days he refered me to a transmission specialist. He said he could do the work,l but not as fast or as cost effective as the specialty shop. He did not charge me for his trme. When I got the news that the transmission would need to be rebuilt he suggested that given the milage on the car that it might not be worth the price.
This is typical of the service I receive at Carpinello's. They have serviced Our '03 Buick LaSabre and '07 Toyota Prius for several years. Always Honest, no-nonsense estimates and work. Excellent work at a fair price. No surprises. they have proven themselves trustworthy time and again. I have recommended them many times and they have received much the same reviews from those to whom I have refererd them.
