Charlie is in charge of Surburban Forestry and we like his tree pruner Bob and I think he works for him. Every 2 years we usually have Bob, the tree pruner, come and tend to our trees that we have in our front yard. However because of the damage from the ice storm we had in October we had some trees that got hit and he probably needs to come and fix them. He comes in the summer after some of our trees have finished blooming. We love Bob. Charlie is very pleasant and very professional and his tree pruner Bob is really great and we are very impressed. I don't know how to compare the prices on them because I really haven't had another tree pruner, but I've always been very pleased when he does the work and it feels very comfortable price wise. We have five trees and he often would tend to some of my neighbors overhanging branches on our side that are getting near our home. They are known to have a good reputation and so we called and they came out and told us the situation and we went with it. We've been very pleased with the results and we feel we're in good hands and the price is reasonable. As far as prompt goes they are a little laid back, but it's worth it. I mean they come when they say they're going to come, but when they can come out is just a little bit vague. You just have to know how to work with Charlie. He has an answering machine and it is awhile before he calls you back, but you just have faith that whatever you said on the answering machine he's going to show up and get it done. They're not exactly precise about callbacks, but they take what you indicated to them and all of a sudden you come home one day and it's done.

They were very good, prompt and showed up on time.  They were very friendly and someone they could trust.  He's dependable, did a good job, cleaned up and everything looks good.  They were here when they said they would be.  I've used them in the past, too.

Suburban Forestry is the only company I could find that will spray our big trees for the woolly aphids. I am happy to say that we have the only thriving hemlocks in the area. Charlie is very knowledgeable and helpful.
