The job went very well as there was quite a bit of repair work needed prior to laying down the new shingles. We were very impressed with the clean-up. The installers were very curteous and willing to answer questions.

Very professional from callback and estimate to finished job.  This was an old home with water and ice dam issues plus a chimney and roof that needed serious repairs.  The possible solutions to these problems were explained clearly.  The subcontractors and crew were on time and hardworking.  I am very pleased with the finished product and would use this company again for other projects.

Donald LIbiszewski (owner) was very prompt about returning my call.  I described the work that my insurance company said needed to be done, and we set up a time for him to perform an estimate for my roof replacement.  He came to my property and performed the written estimate.  He walked me through the entire process, answered all of my questions and gave me a timetable for the work to be performed.  Don's company was highly rated on Angie's list and he proved to be very straight forward.  I had another estimate done and even though the price was slightly less, the contractor was very vague when it came to the details. 
I decided to have the work done by D.E Libiszewski, and it has proven to be a good decision.  Everything that he promised, he delivered on, and he went out of his way to keep my wife and I updated on the entire job.  His crew showed up, as promised, and within a day and a half my roof was complete.  The roofing crew cleaned up all of the construction materials, and the dumpster disappeared from my driveway, the next day.  Other than the fact that I now have a beautiful new roof, you would never even know that they were there.  I would highly recommend D.E. Libszewski, to any one who wants quality work, professionalism and a no aggravation experience.

His crew had the job completed in a day and one-half--including total cleanup of my property.

I had joined Angie's list after calling several roofers on my own. One came and spoke with me at length, but never returned. All the others fell through as well; some called but didn't follow through, others never called. I called several roofers from Angie's list and each returned my call and actually gave me estimates. I chose D. E. Libiszewski for several reasons. He answered my call the same day, and was at my house the next day. He assessed the roof with me from the ground pointing out some concerns, but he walked the roof before making any recommendations and developing an estimate. Although all the estimates I received were in the same ballpark his was the lowest, and he gave me the option of fixing the chimney as well. As soon as I excepted his bid and signed the agreement things started to happen: He explained the chain of events that would take place and would call me with dates. He called and we set up a time for the mason to come so the chimney would be done before the roof was laid. The mason came and did a wonderful job. He explained what he was doing and the materials he was using. He cleaned up when he was done and the only way someone could tell he had been there was by the beautiful chimney on top of my house. That evening I received a call to check if I was pleased with the chimney and to let me know about the next step. A few days later equipment, and the shingles arrived and then a dumpster. The following day the men arrived first thing in the morning. They stripped the roof (1 layer) to the wood, laid an ice and water barrier, followed by the shingles. They were meticulous with their clean-up; everything went into the dumpster, and the dumpster was taken away. The men were courteous, efficient, and respectful of my property. Everyone seemed to have a job and they did it well. After my previous experience with other roofers almost anyone would have looked good but I was very pleased wih this whole experience. Mr. Libiszewski conducted business ethically and above-board. He treated me, the customer, as important. He kept me informed of every step of the process so I didn't ever have to wonder if anything was happening. And he cared if I was satisfied. It was a pleasure doing business with him. I would recommend him and already have to one of my neighbors.

I received 5 proposals and although Libiszweski was not the lowest he was not the highest. During the proposal stage he was the most straight forward of all the vendors I spoke to, he is a local vendor with a long track record in my town. The job took 2 days to complete and the crew arrived early and stayed on site until the very end of each day, they cleaned up very well and the roof looks great.

We received two quotes and D E  Libiszewski gave us the best quote so we decided to use him and he did a very good job.

The contractor was punctual in coming over to my house to provide an estimate, which was the lowest I received from a number of others.  The work was done within a few weeks of me accepting his estimate.  There was a slight  delay in getting to the job, which was  weather-related and not the fault of the contractor.  Once they started the job, the workmen were very efficient and did what I judge to be an excellent job.  After it was done they cleaned up the area and made sure that the dumpster that had been parked in my driveway to collect the old shingles was removed the very next day.  All in all I think they did a first-rate job. I will be interested next winter when the snow comes as to how efficiently the self sealing roof cover minimizes any leaks from ice dams, which was a big problem last winter, and a major reason for replacing my roof.

It turned out perfect. He went through all the work for permits, as a good contractor, should do. He uncovered that there were 4 layers of shingles of my roof, which was illegal. He uncovered a big bulder on someone else's part.

We called Libiszewski for an estimate. He came out the next day and we hand an estimate in our hands that evening. The estimate was very fair so we agreed to have him do the work. It took about 10 days for the materials to be ordered and delivered. The crew arrived and worked steadily for two days, finishing by cleaning up the entire yard and driveway. This was the second time Libiszewski has done a roof for us (my father's house last fall). We would not hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to our friends.

I received bids from many contractors in the area as well as a local Home Center. 2 bids came in excessively high, plus the home center made me pay for the estimate (a lesson learned). A group was in the middle, and DONALD E LIBISZEWSKI was with 2 others in lowest bid group. We gave the job to Donald because he separated his company from the others in a few ways: - He was the lowest bidder by a slight amount - He said he would repair damaged trim (which he did) - He said he would repair minor chimney damage (which he did) - He is a local contractor - He is not a fly-by-night contractor but was well established with steady crews - He was convincing that he would do a good job and would back up his work The construction was done in an organized, efficient, timely and clean manner. His crew works well together and acted professional at all times (including no profanity that we could hear). This crew also impressed the local Building Inspector (whose department did not like me originally for some past feuds). Hopefully, the Building Inspector will look more kindly on me after I contracted Donald and his company. After the job was completed, Donald did not come in with any additional unanticipated charges. In fact, his materials cost was slightly higher than he originally estimated (I asked). I volunteered to pay for the additional materials, but Donald would not accept the additional money. The roof works well and looks great. I welcome others to see the work that DONALD E LIBISZEWSKI has done on my roof. I must add a comment: since DONALD E LIBISZEWSKI did what I consider a perfect job while being the low bidder, I wonder what the others were charging up to an additional $9000 for???? The roof looks great

IN ONE WORD "PERFECT"

We had just put my father's home up for sale when the roof started to leak. The house was 20 years old with 20 year shingles so we knew the roof needed to be replaced and it needed to be done as soon as possible so the interior wasn't damaged Mr. Libiszewski gave us an estimate very promptly and scheduled the work for just a couple of weeks later. He actually started a couple of days earlier than he had told us, and finished the work within a very few days. We need the roof on our own home replaced next spring and plan on hiring Mr. Libiszewski to do the work.

Great job! Based on other referrals, we called this roofer. Within two weeks of calling, we had an estimate & new roof. We checked out other referrals but this roofer was the only one who recommended to remove the old roof & replace. Others just wanted to put a new roof on top of the existing which didn't make sense to us since there was a question of rotted plywood underneath. Even though it cost a little more, it was worth it to have it done the right way. This will last us 30 years & is guareented with manufacturer's warranty. The workers worked non-stop & had it done within 4-5 hours. They cleaned everything up. You never knew they were here. We went up on the roof and checked it out & it's a solid job. This roofer has great customer service. Very patient, explains everything he was going to do from start to finish & listened to all our questions/concerns. He also does siding, windows & some carpentry.

Came back with an estimate quickly. Was the best price of three quotes. Started the job in two weeks just like he said they would and amazingly finished in three days. (I didn't think that was possible since the roof is two different colors and has a geometric design in it. Definitely not your run of the mill roof.) the workers were very professional and did a great clean up job every day. Price came in exactly at Don's estimate. We have worked with many, many, many contractors in the last 25 years.(our house was built in 1826 and is now totally redone). We have had some very bad experiences but this was about as pleasant as remodeling can be. I give this company an A+.

The materials arrived on the day he said it would. They arrived on the day they said they would. They worked in a sudden pouring rain to cover the part of the roof they had removed that first day. They took three days to complete the job (33 squares) as Don had estimated it would. Cleaned up every day before they left. Did no damage to the rest of the house while doing the job.

Great! He started a week after I asked him to perform the work, and was finished in 4 days. There was very minimal inconvenience, and the cleanup was very good. I have a 30 year manufacturer's warranty, and ten year warranty on workmanship.
