I hired T&K to sealcoat my driveway in June 2012.  The job initially came out nice but the sealer did not hold-up well.  In under two years I have fading, chips (quarter size and larger, some as large as the palm of my hand) in non-traffic areas and large amounts of overall wear.  My neighbor's driveways look much better - they either did it themselves or had another company do it.  I wouldn't mind but I felt like I paid a premium when I had this job done (their quote was the highest), hoping I was getting better service & product, that's simply not the case. I recently emailed to have the job re-done, a rep from T&K responded immediately, commenting that my initial job has a 2 yr warranty and they would re-do the job at no cost.  She wasn't aware that I was still within the 2 yrs and I wasn't aware of the warranty.  When I responded that I was within the 2 yrs (I have records indicating this) she said she'd turn the case over to another person and that's when the communication stopped.  I have since forwarded her pics of the driveway showing the wear and an additional email confirming T&K's lack of response and willingness to honor THEIR 2 yr warrantee.  I just don't get it?...How do you run a business where you clearly ignore your customers and don't act on the warrantee YOU provide? I would also add, I wanted the job redone because it looks so bad and prior to discovering it was under warranty T&K provided an estimate that was 40% higher than the job done less than 2 yrs ago.  I have to say, I was initially impressed with T&K but in the long run they're over priced, they only respond when they want to sell you something, they deliver subpar service & product and DO NOT honor their 2 year warranty.  I really can't find any reason to patronize them given the way they treat their customers.  If you're looking to seal a driveway or parking lot I would pass on them - your wasting time and money.

Update: I've since raised ratings here given that T&K did eventually honor their 2 yr warrantee, came out and redid the job at no cost.  I can't ask for more than that. 

Update 4/10/15: I lowered quality.  While they came back and redid the driveway sealer, it's not even a yr later and I've got palm size and larger pieces missing/flaking off.  I'm not sure what they use as a sealer but it's quick to fade and come off the driveway...Just not worth the $$

Excellent communication with sales people. All details explained up front. Excellent job done by a good crew. No complaints. New driveway is excellent. Didn't mean to wait so long about writing a review, but have had no problems with driveway.

It went very well. Did everything they promised and the rep was very professional.

Price was 50-75% higher than when I used this company several years ago to sealcoat the exact same driveway. No explanation was provided for the dramatic price increase. They called on the day of the appointment and said they had to reschedule the job for a week later. Quality was very good when the job was completed. They even put up yellow warning tape across the driveway to keep any cars from entering for the required 24 hours after the sealcoating was applied.

Everything went well.  We were able to quickly get a quote over the phone based on the size of the driveway.  It was easy to schedule a convenient appointment.  The day before the appointment, they called to tell us to expect them the following afternoon.  It rained overnight into the next morning, so they called early to notify us that there would be a delay of two hours.  The men who came were professional and did a fine job of sealing the cracks and coating the driveway.

I contacted tand k on thier website they sent me back a quote and then they contacted me by phone we set up a date of service weather permiting. 2 men came down cleaned my driveway filled some cracks then aplied the sealcoat. They arrived with in the time framed answered all my questions and did an excellent job !!!!

My wife and I thought the the whole experience with Tand K went very well.

Our driveway was way overdue for new asphalt. Tand K gave a reasonable quote and was available to do the job fairly quickly. The crew was prompt, courteous and very professional. We decided to widen our driveway and add asphalt into the side yard that usually gets muddy. When the second truck arrived, we received a bad batch of asphalt which was no fault of Tand K. It was too late in the day to get a new batch, so they couldn't finish the project -- otherwise it would have taken one day. But they came out the next day, corrected the problem and finished the job. Our new and wide driveway looks great! I wish we had hired them years ago.

Contacted by phone, described driveway, received quote (accepted), gave credit card info and scheduled date work would be done. Worker showed up as scheduled, cleared driveway, filled cracks and applied sealcoating. Had a problem with filler material developing cracks; contacted company who sent out another individual to repair and recoat. All contacts with company were pleasant and professional; individuals who did actual work were highly conscientious. Recommended.

They came on a day day that it was going to rain that night, so I was worried that the sealcoat would not set. After they were done, I wasn't 100% happy with the job b/c some of the cracks were not sealed like they said they would seal. I called them and them and told them about not being happy with the outcome, and they came back out the next week and did the whole sealcoating over and fixed the cracks. It looks 10x's better then the original job, and so I am very happy with the overall experience. Their price was great compared to some other places, and they are very responsive.

THE CREW DID A VERY CAREFUL JOB WHERE THE DRIVEWAY MEETS A COBBLED WALKWAY. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL.
