Ross is extremely knowledgeable, meticulous and thorough. I inherited a Colonial Manufacturing grandfather clock upon my father's death several years ago and it recently stopped running a day or two after rewinding. It hadn't been cleaned or adjusted in six years. I contacted Ross via Angie's List and he replied by email the same day. He had an unexpected opening in his schedule and was able to stop by my office that afternoon. Ross went way beyond what I thought was necessary and left the clock running perfectly. He is highly skilled and I recommend him without reservation. He clearly enjoys his work and talking about it, and I learned a lot about clocks while he worked.
He also works on Chelsea ships clocks, and the one I own is thirty years old and develops problems every five years or so. I've been sending it to the factory in Chelsea, but the turnaround time is typically over a month. Next time, it's going to Ross!
