SP Butler Construction

SP Butler Construction installed the front and back entry doors, however, the work was very sloppy. During the install, the trim around both doors was broken, a hole of several square inches was made above the door and dirty fingerprints were left on the wall around the door., To repair the water damage in the bathroom, part of the ceiling and walls had to be torn out and replaced. The repair to the wall looked fine but the ceiling had a very obvious bulge in it. This was pointed out to the owner of SP Butler Construction whol agreed that it needed to be fixed (along with the trim around the doors). The owner came and put one coat of plaster on the ceiling which did nothing to fix the problem and also got plaster all over the newly reapaired walls. After that they never came back to finish the repairs leaving plaster on the ceiling and the walls. Now the bathroom ceiling repairr needs to be redone and the walls need to be repainted. He never installed the bay window or refinished the hardwood floors. During this whole process, it was extremely difficult to contact anyone at SP Butller Construction. I left voicemails on two phone lines and wrote many emails. It would take anywhere from one to six weeks to get a response and at one point he just never responded. The worst part about all of this is that there is still $660 from the deposit that we gave him at the beginning of the job that is owed us for work that they never did. We still need to hire someone else to redo the bathroom repairs that were never fixed.
