+ 2 moreHow did it go? It went so well I felt obligated to take the time and energy to post about them on line. We have all dealt with contractors, and often the experience is not pleasant. With this team I almost want to think of new projects, I enjoy watching them work so much. And of course we love living with the results. I sound like I must be related to them somehow. But nothing is further from the truth. They are just that good. We rate them 12 out of a scale where 10 is perfect. Not only do they go the extra mile, they don't charge you an arm and a leg to do it! Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
Description of Work: This is the fourth job Buurma Contracting has done for us. Previously they installed our new kitchen after a house addition. Later they put in a full marble bath and renovated an existing bathroom. In the same year we had them put a new stairway and flooring in our existing 1890's style farm house. This time they saved the day with a small lake cottage we purchased in the fall. It was tiny and dark and my husband thought I was crazy to want it. But I knew that Russ and Joe from Buurma contracting could fix it. And did they! There was a wall between the main living area and a small lake front bedroom with a very low ceiling. They removed the wall separating the spaces, vaulted the ceiling and gave me sliding glass doors onto the lakefront deck. It is amazing how beautiful my silly little lake cottage has become!
