He used a great plumber who I will continue to use. He did not use an experienced tile person. the plumbing is not to code (pluming inspector signed off on it and then they moved plumbing around. He did not have the plumber do it. He one of his regular guys do it. They left a hole behind sink too.
I gave Joe more than enough chances to fix what was wrong but he has become non responsive. He turned my life upside down for 14 weeks. Joe promises and promises but can not deliver and when he does the work is half assed. He made and error in the quote by $2,500, I told him Mistakes happen and we moved on. There were some other errors all of which my wife and I handled well. His guys broke my storm door and Joe said he would replace it. I have been waiting 9 weeks for him to fix it and he has said he would up until last week when he became non responsive. Non of the issues below were corrected.
Here are some examples of what went wrong:
1. Moved door to bathroom and patched a piece of baseboard in rather than replacing the 6 foot section. There is now a seam that is noticeable.
2. Hollow spots in the ceiling from poor painting.
3. light over sink is not centered
4. Tile in bath was started in wrong spot, the pieces in the corner are slivers and then it turns to all grout.
5. Joe deviated from the original plan and built a closet to small, we had to redo the space to make it bigger and move the door again. His guys seemed to think poorly of his mgt skills and felt free to let me know (even his son).
6. Plumbing not to code
clI would not use Joe Russell or Bill Russell if the work was free.
