Recommend staying away. I used to refer Westport Appliance to everyone, but new ownership is not the same customer focus and service as previous owner. Technician quoted pump for my dishwasher without even looking at my pump. He didn't unscrew or look at anything and never used one tool. The part was quoted over 20% higher than list plus labor and service. Aaron, former owner, would always give best recommendation and fair prices. I paid for a service call, but feel like I was cheated by this business. Note: Proof-read business description and except vs. accept.

I called Westport Applaince and they sent Bob to our house. Bob took the time to listen to some concerns I had as well as answer all of my questions. Overall, Bob was great and I will definitely call Westport Appliance again when and if the need arrises. Top notch!

I was pleased with the service received on my appliances. The repair men Troy and Dave were personable and professional. After they serviced 2 refrigerators, dishwasher and compactor Troy informed me of the condition of each and every appliance. He also informed me that they would order a part needed for a refrigerator and the company will contact me as soon as it is in and make an appointment to replace the needed part.

Westport was responsive and professional. Bob, my technician, was awesome. He was helpful and got the job done quickly and efficiently!

LG front loading washer bought in 2010. I had to wait a couple of days before they could get to me but once they came it was fixed quickly, (water pump). I had to use them once before on the same washer, it had been under a 5 yr. extended warranty and only had about a month left on it when the door clip broke so it would not lock. That time they came out quickly and had it fixed right away as well. I have recommended them to a couple of other people and they were happy to get their appliances working again :)

I had an excellent experience with Westport, both in dealing with the customer service/scheduler and the repairman who was sent.  I am a renter, which made the situation a little more complicated, but Westport was very accommodating.

After the repairman diagnosed the issue, Westport ordered the replacement part but unfortunately it was on backorder with the manufacturer for 21+ days.  Westport allowed me to order the part on my own (for warranty reasons, they can only order parts through specific groups but I had flexibility to search internet and used AppliancePros) and only charged me for the visit/repair.  Throughout this whole process, the scheduler was very accommodating and kept me updated on when the repairman would arrive.

Aaron, the repairman, was extremely helpful and courteous.

The repair was extensive and took parts and labor over a 3day period. The service provider was courteous and knowledgeable and clearly explained what had to be done, what procedures were involved, and on what basis the costs were set.

Repair tech was professional and efficient. I probably would have paid more for the actual part if prior research had not had been done on what the part cost at the Parts Direct site. It is almost as if he spent more time working with his dispatch in his vehicle in the driveway trying to figuring out how much to charge for the part since we already knew how little it cost. It took over a week for this company to get the part when I could have had it sooner myself ordering it from the Parts Direct site directly. When the part did arrive and the office called to schedule an install date I had the displeasure of dealing with a female who truly needs more training in phone skills since she kept me on hold them proceeds to disconnect me. Again another 4 days before they could schedule the part install. All in all wash machine was fixed and still working but I will shop around for another appliance repair company before calling this one again.

He came at the appointed time, found the problem, and fixed it. He was here about 45 minutes. The cost was $89.95, which I consider quite reasonable. He was knowledgeable and efficient and I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others.

My appt was scheduled for between 12-5. Josh called about 12 snd was here by 12:30pm. He found the problem, explained the repair, and had it fixed within 20 minutes. I was anticipating a hefty bill, but was pleasantly surprised.
