Pure Solutions

On June 8th I talked on the phone with a company representative who arranged my first application for Monday, June 12th. No time window was given, just a promise the technician would call half-hour in advance. This sounded inconvenient enough, but I decided to give it a try. Nobody showed up on Monday, and I didn't receive any cancellation notice. Discontinued the program.

This review is 2 years overdue but I believe still relevant. I bought an Angie's List deal for an organic pest control spraying. The date was set to be the Saturday before Father's Day 2014. After waiting for Pure Solutions to show up for the appt., for which they were late, I finally called to find out when they would be at my house. I was told they wouldn't be out that day because of the weather. However, no one called to let me know. Needless to say I wasn't happy but I know it was simply a miscommunication. Unfortunately, I still had a problem... my family was coming over the next day for outdoor fun. Well, Rani Wise of Pure Solutions was SUPER fantastic...she was genuinely unhappy that this happened and arranged for the spraying to take place early Father's Day morning. Sure enough, someone was over around 9 AM on Sunday morning to take care of me. I felt they truly cared about my situation and they went above and beyond to make sure the spraying took place before my family event. Bottom line, Pure Solutions provided me with great customer service and a bug-free Father's Day cookout! Thank you!

Prompt response to my inquiry. Service was effective for about 2 weeks, as they explain. This season I plan to have them come on a schedule to better enjoy my yard.

Have used them 7-8 times. Very professional. I checked out their Spray Material Safety Data Sheet for possible danger to pets, birds, wildlife, fish, etc.All clear. No harm to my yard, plants, cats, birds, turkeys, etc. over more than a year of services.

Treatment was very effective for heavy wooded area, and technicians sprayed very thorough. I was impressed with Pure Solutions work.

They did a thorough job of spraying my entire property, including going into the bordering woods a bit. As advertised, the treatment lasted about two weeks. I thought it worked well.

They showed up on time and did exactly what they said they will do. The treatment are all natural. My cat has no ticks this summer so far. The treatment is working. I would recommend this company to anyone.

The staff all very professional and responsive. They come on time and are in and out quickly. I do feel the difference in my yard. There are still a few mosquitoes here and there but nothing like the previous summers, this was expected.

The results have been great. We have a very wooded, large property in Lincoln. Last year, the mosquitos were so bad that we could barely spend any time outside. This year, I wanted to try mosquito spraying, but I wanted an organic treatment because we are on a well system. I've been very happy with how well Pure Solutions' product works. After the spraying, there are still a few mosquitos around, but my husband and I are constantly remarking on how few mosquitos there are. The difference is remarkable. We can finally eat outside and play in the yard with our toddler. My one criticism is that they seem to have more work than they can handle, and it took a few weeks to get on the schedule. Hopefully they can continue to increase their staff as their business grows to keep up with demand.

Great responsiveness. Very professional. The tech explained the product and treatment. The treatment was very effective. I have hired them to continue treatments through the year.

I think it worked. What ended up happening was that they were coming every two weeks and I don't think you needed to spray every two weeks. I signed up kind of like mid-season. So I thought one or two treatments would have been all that was needed. But instead, they tried to pack in four or five treatments in a short period of time. So I just said, "No. That's okay." I would use them again. Their price is comparable to all the other companies. Most of the time they came, they only spent about 5 to 10 minutes spraying.

They were great. I have continued to use their service. Their product was good. They were responsive and easy to work with.

It was pretty good. The product ended up working for less time than we had hoped. The tick control worked really well. The mosquito treatment only worked for a day or two. They did come out for a second application for free because it rained shortly after the first time.

They arrived on time and followed up to make sure we were happy.

Very professional and pleasant over the phone. The service was performed in a very timely manner. Saw a noticeable decrease in tick population immediately and Pure Solutions did a second maintenance spray at no cost a week later. I would use them again.

It went ok, but it didn't get rid of all the mosquitoes in my yard. The service was great but didnt work as well as I was hoping it would. They were very good about following up. It had rained a couple of days after the service and they called to see if I needed the solution re-applied.

I was contacted immediately after purchasing my Angie's List "Big Deal". Rani's professionalism and courtesy throughout the transaction was awesome. The appointment was easy to arrange, and I had also asked them to call before coming out which they did. (This kept my dog from barking and waking up my sons- most appreciated). The organic spray had a pleasant odor and I noticed results immediately. I live in a wooded area very near a pond, so the mosquitoes and ticks are pretty bad usually, especially this season. We had some very heavy rains and about a week into the treatment, I noticed things wearing off. Rani had checked in to make sure that I was satisfied with the treatment, and they were willing to complete a second application to ensure that I received my 21 days of pest free bliss. I am now convinced that I can be rid of mosquitoes without having to resort to solutions that are harmful to the environment. I really got the sense in working with this company that they believe in their mission to try to get folks to use less chemicals. I have gotten quite spoiled by the fact that I can go into my pool without slathering bug spray all over my head, or running into my house before all the bugs follow me in. A highly recommend company, so totally worth the slightly higher expense knowing that we're not pouring chemicals all over my yard and into the air. I'm happy to be another satisfied customer. Staff is very professional and friendly. They show up when they say they're going to show up as well. As for the service, I have noticed an improvement but still quite a few mosquitoes out on the deck the other night. They have offered to come out and spot spray again for no charge so can't beat that. Still early to judge performance so I'll check back but there has been an improvement. I do live next to wetlands and woods to I bet my situation is worse than normal.

So far so good. We sat out the other night. My husband is a magnet for mosquitos and he was not bothered. We will be using this service again for July and August..

Returned to respray on 6/14/14 after excessive rain lessened effectiveness of spray. Very professional in both customer service and field spray staff.

These folks are great to work with and their product works! They applied the first application several weeks ago but since we've had so much rain lately, they called to see how things were going and offered to come out and treat again at no charge. The product smells great, no chemical smell and our indoor/outdoor cats have not had any ticks this Spring after the treatment. Would highly recommend Pure Solutions and their all-natural products.

We have been using Pure Pest Management regularly since June 2012 when I contracted Lyme and other tick borne diseases. Fortunately I was diagnosed quickly and recovered after 30 days of antibiotics, but I was obviously concerned about the rest of my family as well as a repeat for myself. I tried Pure Pest Management on the recommendation of a good friend. The spray is fragrant - not offensive - and dissipates within a day or so. It is a food based spray, not a chemical or pesticide. I cannot say exactly why it works, but I can say that for us it has worked with complete efficacy. Since hiring Pure Pest Management, I haven't had to use Advantix on my dogs, and my husband, a walking mosquito magnet, has been nearly bite free. The employees are friendly and professional, overall exceptional experience.

I've been pretty happy with their service. There have been a few bumps in the road, but the company has been very responsive and re-treated as appropriate. I did, however, get a tick bite which did turn into Lyme but this happened at the very beginning of the summer only a day after the first treatment by Pure. I understand that nothing in life is a sure bet. They did respond by widening the area that they treat and I have not had a problem since then. It is quite delightful to be able to sit outside in my backyard and not be swatting at mosquitoes or living in fear of ticks. It's been a great outdoor summer!
