Initially, everything seemed to start off in the right direction in early November. Ron said that this would only take a couple of days and quoted us $2800 for everything. He explained that he would need to remove several panels of siding and drill holes from the outside of the house to blow insulation into the walls. He explained the entire procedure and reassured us that any and all holes would be resealed and that we would have a much warmer house for the upcoming winter. Ron did not show up on the day he said he would start, but showed up late the next day. He brought along an associate who appeared not qualified for installing insulation (a lady in her mid to late 40s). After he had drilled holes in our walls from the outside, he disappeared for a couple of days. When asked where he disappeared to- he said that he had an allergy to cedar dust and didn't know that there may of been cedar wood beneath our siding. Ron came back and started back into the project drilling more holes and then started to fill in the insulation. He said that he misjudged the project and said that it would cost more to finish the job. More delays occurred and he finally finished the insulation job, but said that he had forgotten to order the windows. Ron finally ordered the windows and proceeded to install the windows in mid-January. A month after the install we noticed that one of the upper panels of one of the new windows had a stress crack. I contacted Ron to see if the window had a warranty. He emailed back and said "definitely" and that he would put in an order for a replacement sash. It is now May and we have not heard back from Ron and he will not respond to our inquiries about the status of our window. In addition in the middle of February, we experienced a leak in one of the walls on the second floor where he said that he had filled in the insulation and resealed the holes. Upon closer examination of this area- no new insulation was blown into this area and extensive water had come through the drywall from outside. We will need to hire another specialist to repair this area before any extensive mold starts to grow and to properly seal any or all of the holes that Ron has drilled in the outside of our home that were not sealed properly.
