North Country landscapes delivered 3 yard of compost and screened loam to our property in Northampton. The crew was prompt and professional. I know it doesn't matter much but they had nice equipment and the guys where helpful and polite. When it appeared that they would run a little late that day we were informed of it quickly. I've bought compost and loam from several providers in the area including UMASS, Bill O"bear and Megan's Valley and one other place I cannot recall. The compost was excellent, well rotted without sticks or other identifiable carbon sources. The garden loam was the best I have ever seen, very finely screened with no rocks or other debris in it. This was top notch stuff. We laid out a tarp so that we'd have less clean up and the crew put the delivery right on it. In all I couldn't ask for a better experience. I would use a recommend them to anyone. After this experience we will use them again. I spoke to a person that I think was the owner, a bight young guy with a new baby on the way. These are good people to deal with.
