I've bought compost and loam from several providers in the area including UMASS, Bill O"bear and Megan's Valley and one other place I cannot recall.
The compost was excellent, well rotted without sticks or other identifiable carbon sources. The garden loam was the best I have ever seen, very finely screened with no rocks or other debris in it. This was top notch stuff.
We laid out a tarp so that we'd have less clean up and the crew put the delivery right on it.
In all I couldn't ask for a better experience. I would use a recommend them to anyone. After this experience we will use them again. I spoke to a person that I think was the owner, a bight young guy with a new baby on the way. These are good people to deal with.
