PUBLIC STORAGE

I had my personal belongings in storage at this facility for 4 months at $86.00/month. When I removed my boxes, 17 small boxes, and 10 large boxes had water damage. I asked about climate control when I initiated my storage here, and I was told it would not be a problem. The back wall of C 233 was cement, and there is obvious water damage (see my attached photos). The boxes have mold and disgusting things growing on them, the box corners are soft, and the sides are soft. These boxes will not protect my personal items from damage on a cross country move. I packed up china and kitchen items in these boxes, so contents are not damaged BUT I now have to buy more boxes, more packaging paper, more bubblewrap, and more tape. I was using my Homeowner's Insurance as insurance for my belongins, and my deductible is $1000, so no luck there with compensation for the purchase of more packing supplies. DO NOT USE PUBLIC STORAGE, as it is not a trustworthy business for storing your personal belongings.

Everything needs improving. They had in the building two dollies for the entire building. You had no way to carry your stuff at all. The people in the office was very odd. Minimal service.
