Snowblower maintenance last year included oil change, annual tune-up, and they even adjusted the spacers at the bottom edge of the front of the snowblower without my asking. Snowblower starts with the pull cord again, as it should--I no longer have to use the electric starter. Lawnmower maintenance a couple of weeks ago: Lawnmower was returned to me cleaner on the outside than ever before (I got the lawnmower used several years ago). They sharpened the blade sharper than I've ever had from my local hardware store. After the oil change and tune up, the lawnmower starts up right away on the first pull. In both cases, for my snowblower and lawnmower, pickup from my house and dropoff back at my house went as planned--very convenient. Mike's Equipment Repair takes Venmo as well as personal checks. The web site is convenient, and communication is by text messages--very responsive.

Emergency Tyre Repair for Snowblower

Pick up arrived as scheduled. Diagnostic done and rider returned within the week.

I dropped it off Saturday morning with major snow expected Monday. Starting issue and a few other things fixed by noon. They dropped it off at home Sunday.

It went perfectly. It actually starts better than it did when it was new.

I had a bad experience with a local company who repaired the mower tractor. It is horrible. It is the worst. They mentioned $90 and then they fixed it and said $400. Not only for myself for my friend they have a push mower and they said $60 and then when they picked up they said $90. They just up their price. They replaced the parts on the tractor but they didn't tell us then they said if you don't like it I can take it back. Just very harsh. We did email maybe text, they text us. The people were very tough. In my experience, you go to body shop and you want to fix the car and you say the price of the part; they would ask you first. They didn't tell us like we are going to fix certain things and this is the price. It's a courtesy at least.

20 year old machine runs almost like new!

It went fine. The work was done in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. When I went to start the snowblower a couple of weeks after getting it back, it was running roughly and wouldn't throttle up. This was on Sunday evening about 6 hours before we were supposed to be getting a good sized snow storm. I e-mailed Mike about the problem figuring he might be able to come pick up the unit sometime this week. Surprisingly though, Mike called me within a half hour of my sending the e-mail, saying he was on his way up to the house to take a look at it. Sure enough, he showed up, and fixed the problem(a stuck throttle) in my driveway. That's by far the best service I've ever gotten from anyone. This was the third time I've used Mike's company to service lawn mower and snowblower. I would highly recommend his company for quality and outstanding service.

I have worked with Mike before and am using him again because of the honst work, quick response and turnaround time, quality of work and competitive price.  I purchased the Toro mower from make a few years ago and it had been running flawless for many seasons without repair.  However, it started to have issues with the personal pace/self propelling and only one of the wheels were moving.  As it turns out it was probably attributed to user error by me pulling the mower backwards when wheels were still engaged. Oops!
I dropped the mower off to Mike as it also was having a hard time starting.  I asked Mike to repair it as soon as possible as I had a BBQ lined up and the back yard was starting to look like a jungle.  It ended up that there were some rather serious issues with the mower and instead of not having mower, Mike swapped it out for another (identical) mower while he repaired the other.  He ended up just having me keep this one and he repaired and kept the one I had.
I was able to get the lawn mowed and had the BBQ - all turned out great. I'm still using the mower and the thing runs flawlessly.  Solid work as usual!

I got the tractor back relatively quickly given it was the busy time of year. The tractor runs great again.
