About us
JM Painting and Home Services established in 1997. We offer full service painting and staining on interior and exterior surfaces, wall paper removal, and all handyman services. We will change your brown stain trim (including windows, doors and baseboards) to white semi-gloss or satin paint. We offer free onsite paint consultation services. We work with high-quality Benjamin Moore paints for interior painting. We recommend Sherwin-Williams for exterior painting. We will paint from 1 to 4 sides of the exterior of your house depending upon your budget. We do power washing and deck staining. Our handyman services include: exterior siding and trim replacements, doors & window repairs and replacements, window screen replacements, closet remodels, small kitchen & bathroom repairs as well as sinks, vanity & toilet replacements. We have a Home Improvement Contractors license and offer general liability insurance. We provide free estimates, have fair pricing and competitive rates.

The painted our shed, whole basement, and a large closet. They also replaced the shed roof and all the trim on it. Great group of people, on time, reliable, quality service, and reasonably priced. I have now used them 3 different times.

We hired John Michael and J.M. Painting Home Services several years ago to paint our family room as well as a bathroom ceiling vent in our upstairs bathroom. We asked him back for additional painting as well as a closet remodel and carpet installation. Everything looks great! Great quality and attention to detail. Would recommend to family and friends.

Although the work he did end up doing was okay, John did not listen to the rest of our comments of where he missed some spots . He then proceeded to make fun of our culture and our race. I believe he is racist and told us it was his country and that we should get out. horrifying experience as our son was there and heard everything. This man was an absolute scumbag. His workers were okay and nice.

"This review is not an Angie leads customer and for some reason not allowed to be removed. My record speaks for itself. I have had customers that expect you to do touch-ups and paint areas that are imperfections in the drywall and trim and unless you change the materials they are impossible to fix. Some of my best customers are Indian and I have no problem with working with anyone that is fair to me and my workers. I am looking into this review as it is an obvious case of slander against my company."

hired JM Painting two years ago to do some interior work on my newly renovated Kitchen and Family Room. They did an excellent job. The painters were experienced and took great care to cover the new cabinets,furnishings and carpets. In June of this year I hired JM again to paint the exterior of our home. It was a big job requiring special staging ant multiple ladders. They took time to properly sand and prep all surfaces to be painted . They also replaced and primed some of the trim boards which had some wood rot.The painters were polite and experienced. They allowed the paint to fully dry before applying a second coat. They did some work at my request which was not included in the original quote for no additional charge. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

They explained the various options and pricing for painting the rooms in my house. I had some unique situations with stucco on the walls in one room and painting over wallpaper in other rooms. They did not try to steer to me the highest cost option but the one that made the most sense for my budget. The work did not quite finish on time for my move in but was close to finished and didn't hinder my move and I was very happy with the quality.

We had a wallpaper-covered foyer, with a 16' ceiling and a two-story staircase. We hired JM to remove this wallpaper and repair and paint the walls of the foyer and a connected large hallway on the second floor. JM used metal staging planks to reach all of the areas safely and efficiently. He also repaired the walls, applied a quality bonding primer over all the skim coated sections before painting two full coats of washable matte finish to hide imperfections. The finish work and full cleanup was excellent!!

They were on time, and got the job done in the time they mentioned it would be. Also, they found the wallpaper job to be far more difficult than they anticipated...but no extra charge! Took about two more hours, but no complaints from them. And the walls look GREAT!!

My son purchased an old condo and we wanted to renovate as much as possible watching his budget. John renovated the ceilings, walls and all white trim. He and his team did and excellent job. He was on time for our meetings and promptly addresed our comments. He also refinished the old kitchen cabinets painting them and replaced all the knobs & hardware. Now they look great. We already have more work for john in the future.

John was awesome to work with. Our project was large in scope. Wallpaper removal in stairway and finished basement as well as painting of entire room including wood paneling. His team did a fabulous job. Project was scheduled for two full days and completed in 1 1/2 days! Very happy with the outcome.

John was very professional and came to give us a quote within a day of calling. We had the trim painted white from dark wood in the whole house. The end result was great. We put our house up for sale and we called JM because it came highly recommended. He matched and painted all of our ceilings and walls so they all look like new now. Our white trim needed to be replaced to match the other trim and that looks fantastic. The whole house was painted and ready to be put on the market within days.
