John Michael's name was given to us by Nashua Wallpaper. I met with him and found him to be very sincere and trustworthy and I went with my gut and hired him. He listened to everything that I wanted done, and gave me a breakdown of each room so that I could pick and choose depending on my budget. We opted to have all our wallpaper removed, all our trim changed over to white and painted 6 rooms. His crew was very polite and professional. They moved furniture to do their job and put everything back at the end of the day. They cleaned and picked up everything, putting it aside neatly so as to not disrupt us. My husband and I could not be happier with the outcome of our project. My husband is a tough critic, being in the restoration business and he was thrilled with the results. I highly recommend John Michael and Group and have told all my friends.

The project to refresh the house was pretty significant and it has gone really well. We are particularly grateful for the work that John Michael of JM home services did. He handled all the wallpaper removal, interior painting and also oversaw the updates to our kitchen which included refinishing our cabinets, removing our old counters, and installing a glass tile backsplash. The work was of a very high quality, was on budget and was completed quickly- he had all the wallpaper removed and the painting done in a week.

Very reliable company. People are highly professional. They did a wonderful job at my home. I recommend them for anybody who needs painting or any job around in your home. John was a very nice person. Everybody likes their job. He worked very quickly and cleanly and, somehow, my house didn't even smell like paint afterwards.

This is the third time that I used them, John is very thorough and does quality work.

We hired JM Painting based on the job he did for my brother, which was excellent. John Michael was professional and timely during the walk through. He provided a quick estimate and the work was done in the time he said it would be done-2 days. He painted our walls, trim and ceilings. They look great. His crew was professional and courteous and finished the job on time. I would use him again and recommend him to others.

Pros: John Michael's team was always prompt and timely. They showed up when they said they would be there. The workers were always professional and worked very hard all day almost without break. The foreman, Kyle, was a true professional who listened and worked his butt off. Cons: It was one of the worst paint jobs I have ever seen a professional do. It was about the level of telling your friends you have free beer and pizza if they will help you come paint. The walls were streaky. The trim wasn't covered. The two day timeline that John Michael gave me was easily busted and it took 4 total trips just to make it to where I wasn't angry every time I came through my foyer. Additionally, they used the wrong paint. We specifically said we did NOT want the Natura paint from Benjamin Moore, yet that is the paint that John Michael picked up. When I spoke to john about my concern about the job not being done well these were the excuses I got: --"the lighting is really terrible in your house" -In all fairness, yes, the lighting is terrible in my house. This is why in my emails I told them they needed to bring a spot light, which they had the first time, but not in the follow up times. --"I thought you were painting the trim the same color, which is why we didn't put enough coats on it."- Unacceptable. You are a painter and should know color. Additionally, I showed them the before and after colors as part of my house has already been painted. My trim was the yellowish off white color that was standard in all late 90 model homes and I was painting it "decorator's white" --"The furniture wasn't moved out of the way enough"- For one, this was only brought to our attention after I started talking about the concerns I had about the job and they were in the house trying to fix it for the 3rd time. For two, my husband asked several times if they needed anything while they were performing the job, and they kept saying "nothing we are good". Later John told me that they were just being nice. My issue with this is that I'm not paying you to be my friend, I'm paying you to get a job done. Overall: The team came back 4 different times and while I'm still not happy with the work, It is enough that I can make the rest of the repairs myself. With the job costing roughly $2500, we can not afford to pay someone else to fix the mess that John Michael left behind. Kyle, the foreman, came back this weekend and fixed the majority of the issues I had with the work. If I could hire Kyle without John Michael, I would in a heartbeat. John Michel didn't listen while doing the walk throughs, was overly defensive when I voiced my concerns, and was not in the least bit professional. I was shocked of our experience given the other outstanding reviews. I would NEVER hire John Michael painting for another job in our house nor would I recommend him to anyone else. Good experience working with them

John was on time and not only painted my hall stairway as I thought would be one day and come back the next day for my bathroom, but did both in the same day and with three coats of paint. He makes sure you are pleased with his work before he leaves and I would not hesitate to call him again for more work in my condo.

We have worked with three painters in our current home and John is the one we have asked back for additional painting. He is not only on time and easy to work with but technically the best in terms of surface preparation and paint finish. Most painters use a roller, which leaves a grain on the wall. John uses a paint brush with several light coats and the result is super-smooth, even color, which was perfectly matched to my color samples. He removed three rooms of wallpaper with no mess. John is very conscientious and promptly handled all of my requests. I look forward to working with him on my next project.

John is very quick and thorough. He takes pride in his work.

High quality work at a very reasonable price. I like the paint edges on my trim to be *straight*, and JM delivered! The job took a little longer to finish than expected, but Michael worked from 9AM to 9PM one day to ensure everything got done (even the extra work we added), and was always friendly and helpful with suggestions. He did the extra touch like adding matching swirls in just the right pattern on my garage wall repair. Great work quality at a very competitive price. Will definitely use again for my next paint and light carpentry jobs.

Michael and John were very professional. My ceilings are pristine now and they haven't been that way for four years. I totally recommend this company.

John Michael did a fantastic job and would recommend him to anyone. Very professional and his estimates are very precise.

John was strictly professional and arrived on time - the job only took him a day and a half (master Bedroom and dressing room) - he knows his paint, overall, I was satisfied--he has a good attitude and is a hard worker -. the first day he arrive at 9:30 and painted until 7 pm.

I needed to repaint parts of doors, some basement window frames and a railing after deleading as my tenants were moving in. These guys got the job done quickly and well. I also had them change a wooden railing on a small deck upstairs to make it safe for small kids, and then repaint it. That went well too, but I wish a few planks hadn't cracked as they were nailed in.

JM Painting group was excellent to work with. I had Michael paint my kitchen cabinets, and they look amazing! I have already hired them to paint my ceiling, and will continue to work with them in the future.

I had nine new windows installed, 8 of which required staining new window sills. The problem was to match the color of the stain with the existing woodwork which did not have to be replaced. Mike did an excellent job with the color match. Also, his work was very clean and precise. There were no spots of stain anywhere on the walls or the windows. He cleaned up after the job. I was extremely pleased with the job and would hire him again for other work. Janet T.

Reliable-on time-clean-professional.....excellent work overall

John Michael was very professional. We had a tight timeframe for the project due to our home sale, and he came right away and put together quotes and scheduling very quickly. He understood our needs and budget and worked with us to find a good solution that would be affordable and also get the job done.

John came out and did a great job, it was a small job but they were very professional and I will use them for future work.

Will definitely have these folks back - they also did interior painting for us - John was very helpful for our remodel project including wall paper, painting and wall repair - also very helpful with color recommendation - having him back shortly to have him refinishing our hardwood floors
