+ -1 moreI don't even know where to start in terms of how exceptional John and his crew are. I would recommend them to anyone. It was truly a partnership and we are both thrilled with the results. We feel we now have one of the nicer homes in the entire town because of John's attention to detail, design sensibilities and diligence. We particularly liked that his crew did most of the work -- carpentry, electrical, finishing -- but, we also appreciated the excellent relationships John had with subcontractors. John also became our cat Walter's best friend.
Description of Work: Comprehensive renovation of a 1920 home we purchased in Maynard: complete new kitchen; two new bathrooms (including the addition of a second bathroom); a dormer, walk-in closet; finished basement; some exterior work; all new electrical and HVAC. Specific jobs included reconfiguration of the kitchen space by removing walls/pantry, facilitating kitchen design, installing all new cabinets and appliances, tiling and installation of new showers/baths/toilets, painting throughout house, custom designed closet, expansion of master bedroom, new stairway leading to a finished basement.....more.....
