He came right over after we talked and looked at the chaise. He gave me a choice between a short-term cheaper fix and a better long-term fix, which was thoughtful. He was done with the job in 48 hours. You couldn’t even tell it had been repaired. Great work! Lovely fellow!

Great! I was able to deliver him the chair on Sunday and my wife was able to pick it up on Tuesday or Wednesday, despite Dave's needing to go to the hospital on Monday for a sports injury. In the pictures below, the images show the damaged back. After repair, it looks just like the good chair on the left in the first picture.

Very well. Dave quickly responded and gave me a quote over the phone based on pictures that I sent him. He came to pick up the table and the tops of the chairs and had the whole job done after a week. The quality of his work was terrific and he reassembled everything after delivering the table and chair tops back to my house. I highly recommend him.

It went great. Dave was very easy to work with and his work was excellent. Both pieces look new and we are very pleased. The job did take a little longer than he originally anticipated but he clearly explained why there would be a delay-- he had to sand more than he thought he would. It was not an issue as he felt that was what needed to be done to do the job the right way, and we agreed. He did the work right at our house which was very convenient for us. We would definitely recommend him and his work!

the repair looks great. If you get on hands and knees and look closely you can see the repair lines but when standing up you would never know. Splits repaired, main support reinforced.

"Thanks [Member Name Removed], Sorry I was not here when you picked the chair up. I drilled a 5/16 hole into both fractured legs and installed about 10" long a metal rods in each leg with resin glue. The damage was pretty bad and I think the metal will add enough strength. Best Dave Donahue"

Excellent. Dave was very professional and did an excellent job. He explained to me what happened and what he would be doing. Fixing the frame on the couch turned out to be a bigger job than either one of us expected but Dave made sure it was done correctly. Once completed he talked to me about how to prevent it from happening again. It is nice to find a person takes the time to explain the situation and the care to make sure it is done right. He saved me a lot of money by not having to buy a new couch.

After receiving quotes from two people who advertised on a website, one of whom failed to show up and one who's quote was unreasonable, I found Dave. I made an appointment to have him look at the piece. He examined it, explained to me clearly what had to be done and gave me an estimate. I left it, and shortly thereafter Dave called to let me know it was ready for exactly what he estimated. Not only did he do a great job, but he is one of the nicest people with whom I've ever had the pleasure of doing business. He also has a beautiful furniture store which will be my first stop for my future furniture needs.
