Carmine, the owner came to assess the work, gave us a good price and then did a fantastic job. Carmine and his crew did all the work on time, professionally and explained every step of the way. We were very impressed with the results and even our general contracts made a comment on Carmine's attention to details. We also had a few last minute pieces of work to do and Carmine was very responsive and gave us a good price for it.

I had two bathrooms without power due to the failure of a 40YO breaker. Others said that they could come in a week. Carmine came the next day, replaced the dud breaker, and we were back to normal. He called back promptly and came on time the next day. The whole panel needs to be replaced, but Carmine looked at it and advised that this could wait for a month or two. He advised me to store fewer things around the panels.

It went well. I will certainly continue to call on them as needed.

We are very happy on multiple levels. First of all, Carmine, the owner, returned my initial call within minutes, something that does not usually happen these days. He asked me my availability and said he would let me know in a couple of days when he could get to our house to do the work. And as promised, he did just that. We had an unexpected death in the family and I had to hold off for about a week and Carmine was both sympathetic and understanding. He rescheduled and the work was done today by his son Bill and Anthony. They got there on time, assessed the situation, replaced all the smokes and brought the house up to code and were done quickly. If they made any kind of a mess, I didn't know because everything was clean when they left. The price was very reasonable. They were great. I would use them again and would recommend them without hesitation.

Carmine came to give us an estimate promptly, and he clearly explained how the work would be done and what it would cost. The estimate was fair and we were able to schedule the work to be done as soon as we had necessary gutter repairs done by a gutter company. Carmine and assistants came on time, and efficiently installed the cables and the lighted control switch in the basement. They were professional, informative and friendly and we would certainly hire them again for any electrical work.

It went great! 110% satisfied with the work performed. We've used them 4-5 times already and they are the only electricians we'll use. They do the work fast & efficient. They are clean and polite and always keep to the original estimate. We've had them onsite and ask to more but they are always honest and fair. It's a great family run business,

Mr D'Ambrosio came out shortly after I called for a quick look - said he'd come back tomorrow to work the problem. He discovered a nearby CO detector that was causing the problem. He didn't charge me anything for his visit!!!

Excellent master electrician skills at reasonable prices. D’Ambrosio Electric Inc. has done several jobs for us now and they never disappoint. They are clean, punctual, polite and don’t gauge the consumer.

This is the 2nd or 3rd time we’ve used D’Ambrosio Electric for home products. Every time they deliver with excellent master electrician skills with very competitive prices. Carmine, the owner is very fair and reasonable and even offers cost cutting ways to do a job. They are clean, punctual, and keep to the estimate without any additional nickel and dime type stuff. Even stayed late until the job was done. Very happy with their service and already have some future jobs lined up.

They were fantastic. They were more than a third of the price that was quoted to me by a local competitor. Worked my schedule and were very professional and nice to work with.

I joined Angie's list to get quotes from multiple vendors as I am a first time home buyer. I knew nothing in regards to cost and home improvements. I will say, I got plenty of quotes ranging from $2100-$3500. I also stated to the electricians during their visit to quote that I had some outlets that needed to be grounded. Some would charge me $25-$30 PER outlet but D'ambrosio INCLUDED it for me at the quote price of $2100. The company employee is the father, son, and another electrician. It is a small company but it is a company who will take care of the job with care and quality. Later on, I had spoke with them about a light fixture that needed to be fixed when they were waiting for the inspector to come and make sure everything is fine, D'ambrosio fixed it for me with ease! If I ever wanted to get another project done on my house in regards from big renovation to small outlet fixes, I will 100% call D'Ambrosio.

I called D'Ambrosio knowing nothing about why an apartment's power was surging and fading - I was able to schedule a time promptly within a few days of the date I called, and D'Ambrosio's company arrived on the day we agreed upon, which was great because I have a property manager and rescheduling causes me headaches. They worked very well with my property manager, working independently and without the need for oversight. They quickly diagnosed the issue, and resolved it just as fast. I appreciate that I felt I did not need to second guess their work, and that they fixed the issue and provided only the services that were needed - the arcing was gone within a couple hours, and they treated my and my property manager's time as valuable. They also sent the statement of work and invoice via email, which is very convenient and great for keeping my records! Furthermore, there was a slight miscommunication regarding payment and D'Ambrosio made sure to also deliver paper invoices to my mailbox when we had trouble connecting - when we did connect, the owner and operator treated me with respect and took extra steps to make me feel like a valued customer, which I believe is because he takes exceptional pride in his business. I also noted that there were multiple members of the D'Ambrosio family working in the operation, so I expect there we'll have a long and mutually beneficial business relationship. For these reasons and more, I will be contacting D'Ambrosio for future projects and I will recommend them to my colleagues when the opportunity arises.

The crew showed up on time, worked with me on exactly what I wanted to have done and were done within a few hours. Working with Carmine, we walked through what I wanted to do. Carmine gave me excellent professional advice and we ended up at exactly the right solution for our needs. Excellent team, excellent work, excellent to work with.

BAIT & SWITCH- GET AN ESTIMATE IN WRITING!!! After reading the great reviews, I reached out to Carmine to have an outlet installed behind our new wall mounted TV. He was very responsive and pleasant on the phone. Explained the job and made an appointment to come over on 11/14 to perform the job. On the phone said he charges $75 per hour plus parts. When arriving to our house we discussed that it would be best to re-run our CoAX cable to our basement because it was currently on a split-er and would not give us the best quality picture. He said since he did not have the cable with him, and would have to come back next week. Let us know that since it was a quick/easy job that he might even be able to do it one night after his other jobs. We said that would be fine. Fast forward to Tuesday morning 11/17. Carmine let us know that he could do 9:00AM . I called to confirm and asked the cost once again. He told me the job would now require 2 guys and it now is going to cost $325! I mentioned I was confused by the major increase (especially because on Saturday after looking at the job he said it would be quick/easy), why it would require 2 guys. He didn't have a good answer as to why the change. All he said was I can send you a written estimate and you can decide....(Great Customer Service)!! Once I asked why this job would take over 3 hours (priced at his original rate) his response was "Enough, lets move on". There are plenty of great Electricians out there and I'm sure Carmine would have done a fine job. However, I would much rather give my business to someone that is honest and true to their original estimate. Very unprofessional!

Carmine was great to work with. When I was unable to reach my usual electrician, I called Carmine based on his Angie's List reviews. He responded promptly, coming for a site visit to fully understand the project and providing an estimate very quickly. When Carmine did the installation, he was very professional and informative; he made sure to discuss the project before he began working to make sure we were in agreement about the scope of the job and the location of the various components. He did the job thoroughly and thoughtfully, making some additional upgrades at no charge, cleaning up afterwards, and walking me through the finished work. He was also very honest; I misremembered his pricing and gave him a check for almost $100 more than the estimate, which he immediately pointed out so I wasn't overpaying. I would definitely use Carmine again and recommend him to others.

Carmine and the crew were gentlemen and very easy to get along with.They were courteous and professional at all times. They did a great job. Looking at their work, it?s obvious they take pride in what they do. I?m very happy and highly recommend them.

Excellent service. Carmine was prompt, courteous and professional. He made good suggestions for installation recommending LED under cabinet lights to replace broken halogen fixtures and I'm glad he did since we discovered when replacing that one of the broken fixtures had caught on fire and luckily had not spread. His price may be slightly higher but worth the prompt service.

Carmine and his team did a fantastic job on my electrical service upgrade and replacement panel. Carmine responded immediately to my email and showed up on time for the initial inspection. I was immediately impressed by not only his technical knowledge, but his ability to point out items that were not up to code that the previous owner installed. He explained in plain language what was missing and how it could be corrected in the future, but did not pressure us to make the changes. When the actual work was completed, saying it was done professionally would be an understatement. The house was spotless, the installation seamless and he even included an extra outlet in my driveway that we hadn't even discussed. The work space was immaculately clean and you literally couldn't tell anyone was ever there. Carmine pulled the permits the way it is supposed to be done, and even went so far as to fill me on any other permits that were pulled. He did great, great work and I recommended he and his son without reservation. Carmine will be my first and only call for any work I do in the future and he should be yours as well. Excellent contractor in every regard.

I think Carmine is wonderful - very easy to communicate with and he was very flexible when we needed him to come out to complete the job. When we moved into our home, we had plans to change outlets, light switches, dimmers and several light fixtures. Our first quote came from a company that was recommended by one of our neighbors. He was awful - didn't seem to know what he was doing, had no recommendations or general knowledge of LED lighting. . .then quoted us over $5,000 for the job. Needless to say, we did not respond to his absurd quote. My husband then found D'Ambrosio Electric on Angie's List and our experience was so much greater. Carmine and I set up a time for him to come out for an estimate. He sent us the estimate via email by the week end and after our first experience, found Carmine to be extremely reasonable. Our light fixtures were not just simple change out's - one is extremely heavy and needed added support, one was in the entry way with a very high ceiling, one on the ceiling in the stairway (really tricky to get to), one (or should I say three) bathroom vanity lights to which there was one wire connection, but I wanted three separate lights installed so he had to cut spaces and run wires, etc. - then some easier to change out like our two wall sconces and another vanity light. He was so responsive that I hadn't had time to decide on and purchase all of the lights prior to him being able to complete the job. He showed up as scheduled (very punctual) with his son and one other electrician from his company. The three of them showed up while we were also having new hardwood floors installed and they worked around all of the clutter and mess, with all of the noise from the floor people. At one point, Carmine, a grown man, was perched on top of a stack of hardwood packages to change out a light switch. They got ALL of them!! They worked all day long, without even a small break and completed all of the outlet/switch/dimmer replacements as well as the light fixtures that I had for them to install with no problem at all. Carmine was very kind and offered to come back to finish whenever I had the remaining light fixtures and to just give him a call. I called about a week or two later and he came within a couple of days after my call. I LOVE all of my new light fixtures!! I am very thankful to have found such a great electrician and I will absolutely use him on any future projects we may have!

The job went well. The employees where polite, prompt and professional. They finished the job in a reasonable time-frame and picked up any mess that was made. Overall I am very happy with their service and most likely will use them again in the future.

Carmine initially came out to give me an estimate on the work to be done. He was very pleasant to speak with and told me what the cost would be. I set the work up and his son and another worker did a great job! I finally have my ceiling fan which I love. And my programmable thermostat works so much better than the old Honeywell dial one that was there before. I am very pleased with the work that they did and I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone.

I called and Carmine was very responsive. He had me call his son (instead of taking my info and passing it along himself). After an awkward call with the son, the son came by my house. He seemed knowledgable and nice. I got the bid but changed my mind about two aspects of the project. I spoke to the son about the changes and he said that was fine and instructed me to call the dad for scheduling. I called the dad and left a message. I got a message in return that was quite condescending about the permitting process and he requested the scope of the project. Since I had already explained in person and emailed to the son, this frustrated me. Clearly, they weren't talking to each other. I returned the dad's call and expressed that I was not having the best customer service experience of my life. He got defensive and interrupted me literally 6 or 8 times in the span of a 90 second phone call. That was when I fired him and hung up. If he can't listen long enough to hear my needs and he is going to assume that I am stupid (for whatever reason... because I am female???), I can give my business and my money to someone who will.

Amazing!!! So responsive, professional and honest. Came right out as it was an emergency and he quickly identified the issue and repaired it to restore power to our house. He explained everything each step of the way showing us the issues. Problem was thousands less than what we expected. He was very honest and I will definitely be using them in the future AND recommending!!!

They were professional, punctual, friendly, and extremely helpful. They not only did a great job on the items that we hired them to do, but they also helped us understand our new home better. They fixed other minor issues at no additional cost. If we have any additional electrical needs, I would definitely use them again.
