I always take a car to the airport and park there in economy parking since it's more convenient, but this time I took C&L limo since we flew from Manchester airport and returned to Logan airport. We have a party of 6, so I was expected a full van service. We did get a van for ourselves for the ride to Manchester, but we shared ride with a seventh person on the way back. Not only that person somehow got a priority and was dropped of first, but also the ride took additional half an hour. Our kids were tired after the flight, and started crying. The vans were not nice. Both vans (maybe it was the same van?) had check engine lights on, and making funny signs. The driver was not courteous and visibly annoyed by our tired kids crying on the way back, perhaps blaming us for the 1.5 hour ride that we had to endure. I would not take C&L again. It was expensive and not worth the money.

My wife and I arrived at Boston Logan Airport after a VERY long day of travel including a surprise snow storm that delayed our arrival by 2-1/2 hours... 2:15AM instead of 11:45 PM. Our driver was waiting and very prompt in retrieving ourselves and a lot of luggage. His service really shone when he carried the heaviest bags (about 50 lbs each) to our house through about 15 inches of snow. All this at 3AM, service well beyond "the call of duty". We would have had a nasty struggle without his help.

I first called Cand L because they were close by and recommended by a friend. They did not disappoint. My family and I used them for round-trip transportation to Logan Airport for our 8 day trip to Portland. We had a 6:00 a.m. flight so wanted pick up at 3:30 am. Our return flight landed at Logan at midnight. The woman who took my reservation on the phone was very thorough, getting all our flight reservation info and told us about the premium add-on fee for service before 6 am and after midnight. They only offer limousine service for parties of 6 or more. Smaller parties will get a luxury sedan, SUV or shared van service. I wasn't thrilled about the prospect of sharing a ride with another family at the ungodly hours of 3:30 am and midnight, but as it turned out, we were the only family in the van both ways. I called them the day before we were to leave, at 4:55 pm to confirm our reservation, and the man on the phone was cordial, telling me they make their confirm calls to customers at 5:00 pm, so I was right on time! Our van driver was very punctual, arriving at our house at 3:25 for the scheduled 3:30 am pickup. He put all luggage in the van and drove us right to United's terminal. He unloaded all luggage for us and was very courteous. My only complaint was that I had to pull out my credit card to pay for the one-way trip right there; I expected the office to charge my card automatically, since they required a credit card at reservation time. On on trip home, we had a layover in San Francisco, so I called Cand L to be sure we were all set. The man on the phone was surprised to hear from me, since, he said, the return flight number I had given them upon reservation, was currently boarding. How he knew that, I'm not sure, but I was impressed that they were on top of the situation. I checked my boarding pass, and it turned out United had changed our flight number. I got them the correct info, and he reminded me again of the premium charge for pickup after 11:30 pm. When we landed at Logan and I turned on my phone, I had a voicemail from a man who said he was our shuttle driver, telling me he was on the way, and asking me to call him when we landed. I called back and agreed we'd meet him outside baggage claim. He was there on time and was just as courteous as our first driver, loading all luggage and driving a direct route home. The van was a bit hot inside; after asking the driver to turn up the AC, we learned we had access to controls for the back of the van. My only complaint was he tried to take the Littleton exit off route 2 when there was clearly construction going on on route 2, so he had to continue driving and get on 495 north, ultimately taking a round-about trip to get onto local roads. It would have been nice if they were aware of the construction and planned a different route to get us home sooner. At our house, I pulled out my credit card again to pay for the return trip; the driver said they don't generally offer the prepay option; you have to ask for it when making reservations. He unloaded everything and took luggage directly to our front door step. I would most definitely use Cand L Limo again and recommend them highly. I found another local limo company who was offering a Groupon for much less than Cand L Limo, but upon Googling them, found they use old vehicles and are very unreliable (I don't think they had been reviewed on Angie's List). As far as cost, Cand L was just a little more than parking at Logan, so well worth it. Long term parking for 8 days would have cost us $144 (plus the stress of waiting for the bus to take us to the terminal and trouble of dealing with luggage). Central Parking would have cost $216, but we still would have had to drag our luggage to/from the terminal. Cand L cost us $221 plus gratuity. Well worth it in the end!
