Roman and his team (total of 3 people moving us) did an awesome job! They were very professional, efficient, organized, patient, and friendly, and they handled all the boxes and items with the utmost care. They had to make a long drive from Mass to Philly on an early weekday morning and were very timely in spite of all the rush-hour traffic along the 95 corridor. I had also underestimated the amount of boxes for our move, and Roman was very flexible and adjusted the loading plans to accommodate the increased number of items. On a final note, I remember another review mentioning how clean their truck is--and it really is! We checked it out for the final clearance and it was so tidy and neat, with blankets folded and everything swept. Very impressive. All this for a very competitive price. We received quotes from three companies when we were planning our move, and theirs was the lowest by a good amount. We were very pleased that we decided to go with their team. Choose them, I'm sure you won't regret it.

Roman and his team did a great job moving stuff from our apartment into a new house. Nothing was broken, they were quick, tidy and very professional.

I called and left message and Roman called me back that evening. We made a appointment for the next Tuesday at 10:00 AM. They arrived at 9:45 and were done by 11:00. Everything done carefully and no damage to anything. They needed to remove the doors off a very large cabinet and put them back on once the move was complete. Great job.

Roman and the crew were helpful, professional, and upbeat.  When the closing dragged on longer than expected, and the movers had to wait until it was over, they didn't complain or give attitude; instead, they adapted.  Other than one small tear on a couch, which Roman admitted, everything arrived unscathed.  They loaded and unloaded quickly, and they could not have been more professional.  I'd definitely recommend them.

Roman and the guys were terrific. They were careful and thoughtful about the move, delivered packing materials to us in Northampton, and even picked up an extra piece that we had all missed in the initial move, and kept it for us in their own storage facility, so I did not have to make a separate trip back to Massachusetts.
In the end, the whole move turned out to be more complicated than we had initially expected. The truck could not use the most convenient highways in NYC, and he did not want to bring a large truck into the City. As a result, I wasn't sure there were going to be able to fit everything. But, like magicians, they did! And saved a lot of time by doing so. Additionally, the apartment we were moving into had a teeny elevator, which made the prospect of getting all the furniture and the 100+ boxes of books and other stuff into the apartment rather daunting. But they had developed a really clever and efficient system of loading furniture and boxes into large containers that DID, miraculously, fit into the elevator. The worked extremely hard, but did manage to complete the move, and with only one minor scratch to a bookcase. I was tremendously impressed.
Since Roman is on the road so much, he does not always respond immediately to emails or messages left; and, at times, we wondered whether he had received them. But, in the end, he and his crew were incredible. They gave 1000% to the job, and made us feel very comfortable with them and with the move. I would recommend him extremely highly.

Roman is a very careful, considerate, and personable business owner. He's experienced and trustworthy. He made promised arrival and delivery times, stayed in quoted estimate, and brought good employees to work with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone. So many horror stories out there about damage--I had only one clay planter saucer break because I forgot to pack it for travel. Wonderful!!

Great. The team was excellent. Arrived when they said they would and stayed until the job was done. It took about six hours. They loaded their truck. there were a few items that didn't fit, so they used my sister's pickup truck to load the rest. they unloaded efficiently, even in the dark. They set up the piano very carefully. There was one incident with a chair falling on a small table. They immediately showed me the damage and they took the piece and had it repaired and delivered it to my front door. I highly recommend Empire and their team.

They were running a little late and it made me nervous because there was no one around to answer my call. | |They called eventually and the owner (I think) arrived before the rest of his crew to assess the move. He started moving stuff from the first floor immediately. He was able to move a large amount of stuff onto the lawn while the other guys finished up their earlier job. They all had a lot of hustle even though it was a very hot day. They were polite and brought a few damaged/mishandled items to my attention right away. Roman and his crew were wonderful and a pleasure to deal with. They were very courteous and careful with my household goods. They arrived on time and went right to work. The move into my new home went just as smoothly. Roman also suggested using pallets in the basement to keep things off the floor. I brought 3 very sturdy pallets ($20 each) which were delivered a few days later.

This company was professional and accommodating throughout the whole process, which was complicated by our unconfirmed moving dates and storage needs. All of the employees were respectful, friendly, and took great care with all items, large and small. We recommended this company to family members, who gave equally rave reviews. We have moved four times over several decades, and these movers were by far the best we have encountered.

It went very, very well. They could not have been better! Roman and two of his co-workers came to the storage unit first in a big new truck for the first stop of the move. They started in right away. They were careful with things and moved everything with great ease - at least they made it look that way. They said another truck and some more guys would help at the other location and then we would all meet up at the final location. That's exactly what happen - two other men brought another truck! So I had five movers all together. They said they like to help each other when they can. All the men were polite, especially Roman, and very strong. They had no problem moving all of my stuff from two locations to another location in about one hour! They were just excellent. I cannot not say enough about them. Roman will treat you with great respect, show up when he says they will, and provide you with a great team of movers. They all made sure everything was placed where I wanted it. Before leaving Roman made sure everything was to my liking. If you are looking for movers, you should stop looking and choose these men. You will be so glad you did - just as I was! It was the smoothest move I have ever had. Our family has a lot of boxes and belongings and they were incredible. They also offer some green alternatives like renting high quality plasrtic totes instead of using boxes.

Empire Movers provided a quote based on a list of items and a detailed description of our home (Roman, the manager, already knew the neighborhood). We were given a choice of dates and times within our timeframe.
On the day of the move, the movers arrived exactly on time. They listened attentively and remembered the details. The worked efficiently and carefully.
My leather sofas and leather recliner were moved without a scratch. They even handled cherished paintings without a scratch. The entire move was finished within three hours.
The total bill came within $10 of the original estimate. We would recommend these guys to anyone. We're very pleased.

Roman and his team were prompt and professional through a very
trying experience. We were coordinating selling and purchasing in a single day,
moving in town from the old home to the new home. The transaction to close our
existing home hit a snag with the buyers finance company and prevented us from
closing on the new home and thus not allowing us to move in. Normally you'd
know this ahead and reschedule the move but this news happened during our move
out and all of our stuff was already loaded on Roman's two trucks with no new
home to move into. This also occurred on a Friday and we were now homeless (and
without belongings) for the weekend till the attorneys could work out the
issues on Monday. Roman stayed professional, given that I've now hijacked his
only trucks and put him out of business till he offloaded my belongings. He did
not force me into an offload and storage situation and held out belongings till
mid-day Monday when we were cleared to move in. For all this extra travel and
storage, he was very reasonable and only charged us slightly more than the original
agreed fee when others may have used the opportunity to take advantage of the
situation. Roman was honest and professional and can truly be trusted. We'd recommend
him highly to anyone considering a move.

I called Roman I think Friday right before the Monday move. Roman managed to finagle the day I wanted (the following Monda), and he and his crew showed up early and I invited them up to take a look at the scene. We had done almost nothing to prepare for the move aside from bagging up most of our clothes. Electronics were not unplugged, dishes were still in the cupboard, etc.
Roman took a look at each room and let me know that he thought everything would be able to be done by the end of the day, and he asked if he and his crew could begin. They were great! They worked for 9 hours straight, and I practically had to beg them to take a five-minute break for donuts and coffee in the morning (they didn't even take five minutes, they just grabbed one on the way to the next packing project) and another short break for pizza in the afternoon. I don't think they would have stopped at all if I hadn't insisted they eat something.
They were incredibly professional and polite, and they carefully wrapped all of our dishes and other delicate objects (tech stuff, TV, etc.). Anything that had a minor scrape or scuff on it they were quick to show me in advance of moving it so I was aware that it wasn't due to their work. They unplugged and packed up the entire apartment, loaded it into the truck, moved it to our new house, unloaded everything, and even helped situate some of the furniture for us. They finished by the end of the business day, and while the total came in a bit above Roman's initial estimate (not his fault, I don't think he realized how big the apartment would be or that we wouldn't have done anything to prepare for his packers), he gave me a break on the price in order to bring it closer to his estimate. This was totally unnecessary and unasked for, however it was much appreciated.
Overall, this is a great company. Hard workers, very professional and polite, and they work diligently and carefully. I would use them again in a heartbeat. We've unpacked everything at this point, and as my wife was unpacking our things she told me I needed to go write this review immediately because of how immaculate everything was packed.

We have used Empire movers three times now, twice for home moves and once to move a baby grand piano. In all cases, we dealt directly with the owner, Roman, who was courteous, professional, prompt, timely and patient during what were very stressful periods. Not only that, but the rates were extremely competive, even a bit on the low side.
Not much more to say other than excellent and highly recommended.

Roman and his crew (I think it was John and David) were really great. It was a hot day and they were literally running with our stuff. NOTHING was broken during the move. They have really good equipment like these bendy blankets that cover your banisters and doorways and they shrink-wrapped out sofa to keep it clean. I have moved a lot (unfortunately) and this is the best experience I've ever had. They were also very price sensitive and their bid was about 30% lower than the other two companies we contacted. All in all they made our move more efficient and pleasant than I could have imagined. I would definitely use them again - but hope I never need to! Highly recommended!
