Honestly, it was the best experience with a contractor we have ever had. A.J. Was professional, respectful and trustworthy. He was in constant contact with us and treated our home like his own. His work was very high quality and the results were better than the original quality. We highly recommend him!

He clearly did not want the job because he told me it was going to be at least $12,000 to fix my porch and another provider did it for about $1940. I wish they could have just told me that they did not want to do the job because that would be a lot more honest. If he gave me a quote of at least $12,000 then I think that pretty much says that he did not want the job. He was difficult to get a hold of but he finally showed up. I would tell a friend that unless he/she has an expensive job, he/she must not even bother trying to deal with this guy because he obviously only wants high-cost jobs.

Al was very responsive & returned my call within the first hour after my search. He came over the next day, applied a temporary fix to the roof prior to a rain storm to avert further damage, then returned another day to do the actual roof repair. He is very knowledgeable, professional, meticulous in his work & cleaned up the entire work area when the job was completed He made great suggestions regarding the repair & will definitely be coming back again to do further work in my home

In our experience, we found Al to be knowledgeable, professional, friendly and punctual. He took down existing wall tile that went half way up the walls, wallboard behind the tile and took up the old floor including subfloor. He removed the vanity, mirror and lighting. Al and his team replaced some plumbing and then beautifully installed new partial walls, wall tile, floor tile, a new vanity, mirror and lighting. In our opinion, Al made great suggestions along the way and did not make any assumptions without checking with us. He kept everything neat and clean during the job. And he finished exactly on time! We couldn't be happier with the end result and now have a beautiful bathroom. We would definitely consider hiring Al again. . .though I won't be surprised if we have to wait in line.

It all went very well. Al did a fine job. He addresses all your concerns with professionalism and suggests the best way to approach and repair the project with regard to expense and quality. I could not be happier with the way my front door now looks and I no longer have to worry about the water coming in and rotting out my front porch.

The work began and was completed as promised. Mr Pelletier is very professional and very personable. He made suggestions that saved me money. I will definitely call him again.

I called this company on quotes for a bunch of projects I needed. I thought it started out fine with the quotes process, although, at times I did ask repeatedly on some quotes. I even provided a detailed summary in an email to this person of the projects to be done after our initial appointment and still I had to repeat a few things and ask for the quotes. Although he did follow-up eventually with the requested quotes, I did have to wait some time to receive them. So after I received my quotes (finally) and then a little bit of time went by, I sent him another email with a few more projects for quotes on. After all, I needed to figure out what I needed to do right away vs waiting a few months for the other projects. This was my planning stage for many needed things to be done to my home. Then I was really shocked when I received his response after my last email to him recently when I requested those few more quotes. He basically said to me that he is a one-man crew and that he can not spend anymore time getting me quotes because his time and money is being wasted. "I would be happy to look at the rest of the work for you, but it can't be for awhile as I have spent the last month and the half just bidding really involved jobs including yours, so now I need to get to work and pay the bills. I can still start the work you and I discussed. I really hope you can understand my position." This was insulting. Apparently, I picked the wrong business. To me, that was unprofessional. So basically I sensed that unless I hired him soon after the quotes were given to me then he wouldn't want to do business with me. Sometimes I think that women are treated differently from men when requesting quotes. Do businesses believe that women are being too picky while it is perfectly acceptable for a guy to make changes whenever or ask for further information whenever? This is what I sense after a couple businesses I contacted failed with their follow-through. I am beginning to realize that many businesses that appear on Angie's List (and probably pay to be on here) may qualify as good businesses but "everyone" is looking at the same handful of businesses showing in their area. So these businesses know it and really do not have to do the extra catering involved as if they were not listed here. The catch here is that there are many other reputable and high quality businesses that don't want to be on Angie's List - but those are hard for us regular people to find unless there is a recommendation from someone. Anyways, back to this current review: This ended my business relations with this company. It was a waste of my time relaying detailed information and additional photos to this business. NOTE: WHEN GETTING QUOTES I LEARNED THE HARD WAY - ALWAYS ASK HOW LONG FOR THEM TO GIVE YOU YOUR QUOTES. AFTERALL, IF YOU NEED TO BUDGET YOUR PROJECT AND PLAN FOR IT, IT IS YOUR VALUABLE TIME BEING WASTED WHEN BUSINESSES CANNOT FOLLOW-UP IN A SHORT TIME AFTER THE INITIAL APPOINTMENT WITH THE QUOTES FIRST. ALSO, ASK IF THEY ARE INTERESTED IN YOUR TYPE OF PROJECTS, REGARDLESS WHEN THE QUOTES ARE ACCEPTABLE. AND IF THEY LIKE WORKING WITH THE CUSTOMER ON DETAILS OF THE PROJECTS, OR NOT. IN REPLY TO THE COMPANIE'S COMMENT on 4-24-14: Changing a fence style or asking for options in quotes is not unusual and it all happened within a reasonable amount of time. Maybe I misunderstood this business' scope of easily getting quotes for a variety of options. All I wanted was the quotes I requested for the options I requested. Nothing was booked and no projects were scheduled yet.

My experience went very well. He came out right away to give me an estimate. The pricing was very reasonable. He was very punctual, professional and knowledgeable in his field. I was very pleased with the outcome They were great with the clean up afterwards. I would highly recommend this company to others.

He was excellent, he called me back the next day, first thing the next day I think in the evening, the next day I got a call from him and he came right over, he went through everything with me. He started immediately and he did a lot of work for me around here, I thought the pricing was absolutely acceptable, no problem there. After he was done with that work, I added a couple of more things to it so he came back like I said a week and a half ago but everything he did was perfect, everything he did was done within a day and each job, and I didn't even know he was here except the work was done, everything was neat and clean, nothing left at all except I knew the work was done. He called back just to confirm that I liked what he did, he called back that evening 'cause he was gone by the time I got home and I confirmed everything that he did, 'cause I want to get my house on the market so it was really important that I have it done and I have it done right. He did ceiling work in my kitchen and in my bedroom and he did back work on the roof, he put in a new bathroom floor and a new vanity top. He did insulation in my basement and he added above my both my boats, there's about a 4x5 roof and it just goes straight back to the house actually but it's roofed and he put in a whole brand new roof right there. I told a lot of people about him.

Al is very knowledgable about timber frame structures. He is also very specific with this work. Al was easy to communicate with. He was prompt, honest, and a very likable guy. I have used him for other jobs and I would definitely recommend him to others.

Overall, excellent. Al called us within 24 hours of us contacting us to discuss the project(s). He provided estimates and options, was ready for us when he said he would be, arrived on time, finished on time or early, cleaned up after himself. If every contractor was like Al, we wouldn't' need forums like this. I can provide pictures if anyone wants to see his work. Do's & Don'ts..... DO call him, DON"T wait
