"Hi this is Ralph Dowers the owner of Affordable Carpentry. This lady [Member Name Removed] hired me to build a set of pool deck stairs and she liked them so much she asked that I give her an estimate on her bathroom because she stated “that shechanges her bathroom every 3 years as she gets bored with it so I gave the numbers andmovedforward with the bathroom project. I worked all dayfor 3days with outanybreaks. As part of the install shehadpicked out afloorpanand I installed it. I left am hi fewtools there becauseshesaid “if you wanttoleave your toools me”. I’m So I left a few tools in the corner of her bathroom. I’m At the end of my day 4pm I left and arrived at 8amthenext day to find nmy toolsnside the new shower area on top of the new shower pan along with my 4’crowbar and just as I put on my tool belt she came in and said “ there’s a ding in the floor pan I want you to take it out and return it right now and she was the one that dinged it when she put my tools on top of it. So I bit my tongue andremoved it and told her she had purchased it so she’s hastohbe theone to return or swap it out, she started yelling at me and said that it’s my jobbecause I’mthe one that put the ding in it and I saidtoher that I absolutelydid not but I would takeitbackfor her as a curtesy to her so off I go to the depot. I arrive at the depot and they had 3 of the same shower pans 2 were a different drain location and the last one was damaged. I called her and told her wat was going on and she said “looks like you’ll have to go to Lowe’s” n, so off to Lowe’s I go... thestyle so I called [Member Name Removed] and explained that I didn’t feel comfortable picking out a different style that she would have to be the one to make that decision and again she lost it as she started swearig at me. I then told her I’ltake the next mdayoff lwhile she finds the floor pan.Shethen took 3 days off she then fired me ."

"Mrs [Member Name Removed] had me in close a porch for her and what happened is that her roof was leaking and it ruined part of the sheet rock in the room. I went back to her house 5 times to pinpoint where the leak is for free. Mrs [Member Name Removed] says to fix it and I stated that I did not do any roofing on her home and she should seek out a professional roofer to fix her broken shingle and she then got irate and stated she would bad mouth me all over wherever she can because I wouldn't fix her roof for free. I didn't do any roofing at her home. So here's her review. I don't use Angie's list any how but I'm not going to let someone bad mouth me when it's not my fault. Plus she didn't call me for two months down the road. She never stated that the leak was fixed."
