We placed the order in November 2007. It arrived in December 2007 and we inspected the unfinished piece and paid the balance. We were informed that it would go to the finisher that week and would be available for delivery in 2 weeks. It did not go out to the finisher for several weeks, then took several more weeks to be ready. Whenever I called to inquire, no one knew what was going on or was able to explain the delay. We finally received it in late January 2008. The salesman told us the AAA discount would apply to the piece, but the cashier refused to give it to us, and when she tried to find him to inquire, he was nowhere to be found (only a few minutes later). I later called to order an additional shelf. It took 4 weeks to arrive and was not even stained to match the cabinet, as I had requested. Rather than wait another few weeks, I took it home to stain it myself. We have purchased 5 other pieces of furniture from the Malden store and never had any problems.
