We were completing a kitchen remodel, and realized that we needed an excellent finish carpenter to handle a tricky installation of trim around windows and doors. Our architect recommended Jim, saying he would be able to work out some difficult problems. He was absolutely right. Jim analyzed the problems (counter top too close to the window apron, insufficient room between cabinets for trim above window) and came up with several solutions. He discussed these with us and allowed us to select the ones we preferred. Jim is very meticulous about his work, and often scribed trim or added pieces to compensate for uneven surfaces. He is a true craftsman, and we plan to ask him to do more work for us. By the way, he prefers small jobs. For example, he did not want to manage our entire remodel, but was interested in installing the trim.

Jim is terrific, professional, and cleaned up. Absolutely great. Also took care of some different things with this. Kept us informed as well. Let us know exactly day to day what was happening.
