Every detail of the move turned out well, Mark and his staff did everything very well.

The two men that came were extremely nice and very careful with my things. Nothing was broken. They were in constant contact with us so we always knew where they were. They arrived on time with my things and scheduling went perfectly.

Overall Mark's did a good job moving a one bedroom apartment to another location. 

Joe was the sales rep who I contacted initially for information and I requested he come out to give me a quote.   He quoted me 7 hours with 3 guys @ $228.  The final time was 8 hours.  



The guys were about an hour late then than quoted time but did a great job in loading and unloading.  The team did a good job of securing and protecting the furniture.  I did not have any damage.



I would use Mark's again.

They began at my apartment on time, around 9am after packing the truck at the storage facility beginning at 7:30am.  They brought a small truck in which there was no way all of our things would fit. And of course, they had to make another trip back to the apartment.  It was a warm day but they took at least one 10 minute break/hour and they did not bring their own water so we had to provide it for them.  2 guys worked hard, another guy didn't exert too much effort.  My husband had to leave in the middle of the move due to a family emergency and they took advantage of him not being there; they slowed their work and again, took more breaks.  Due to the same emergency I had to leave the move as well, so I called my parents to come be at the house.  As I was leaving, the sky was ominous and it had started to drizzle a bit; looking at the sky, you could tell it was about to pour.  My parents said the movers left to go back to the apartment to finish up there and when they did, they left the bulkhead open.  It poured for a solid hour or more.  Thank God my sister happened to go down to the basement and heard something....she said it looked like Niagra falls.  The rain was POURING into our basement.  It took my family an HOUR to clean up the water.  Needless to say our laminate flooring in the basement is destroyed.  If it weren't for my parents being at the house, it would've been WAY worse.  The movers noticed them cleaning up and never said anything.  Then it was time for the bill...it came to over $2400!  Maybe if they hadn't taken so many breaks it would've saved us a few bucks. 
*I've ammended part of my experience with Mark's.  Mark, the owner, has been in contact with me since this review.  He's been very fair and listened to all that I've had to say.  I do appreciate his contact with me.  I will further update as we reach an agreement.
