Wow...we moved using Walecka because they are local.  Bad choice.  During the move they damaged some very expensive bedroom furniture by literally dropping it off the truck platform.   When we sought to file a claim we were sent a form without any idea of how to fill it out. Once we completed it and returned it, we head nothing for 2 weeks. I called and they said their outside furniture repair person was trying to reach us...which we never received a message from.  A week later, the guy calls us and comes out a week after that point.  He basically stated that the furniture was damaged beyond his capability to repair it.  This was 4 pieces of a 15k bedroom set that is no longer in production (Michael Armini)   Anyhow, 3 weeks later I call to check in on the status of our claim, and get the run-around.   Obviously, they don't want to pay for the damage.  We even bought the extra insurance to cover us, in the event of a problem.   We moved 3 months ago...claim still outstanding.   Last call was...I gave it to the general manager??   Isn't this why you pick a reputable firm with seasoned professionals?
