I scheduled them to come clean the chimney for our wood stove; which we now suspect had not been cleaned since it's installation. Dan was prompt, arriving at 9 on the dot. He was courteous, friendly and patient with questions. He cleaned the wood stove, told us a few things to keep an eye on and explained his recommendations with a great deal of patience and not a trace of condescension. He then asked if I wanted him to take a look at the furnace chimney and he did. It too needed to be cleaned out, so he stayed and did that as well. There was no mess at all, and the buckets of soot that he took out from both chimneys certainly made that a challenge. He left us with a comprehensive assessment of things that need attention. I impressed when I called and got a real person, instead of having to leave a message. I was happily surprised they called the day before to remind me of the appointment. Overall the type of service you wish could get from every home improvement contractor, and contact information I will be saving for next time!
Technician was friendly, personable and polite. Communication was great-- he walked me through what he was going to do before he started the work. Along the way he explained terms and educated me about proper upkeep and usage of our fireplace. Everything was clean and neat when he left. He was also very straightforward with prices, services and warranty information.
