I called told them what I needed done that I did not want to replace the whole muffler assembly just repair it. The manager said bring it down in the morning. My wife brought it down. They said that it needs replaced and it would be over $400.00. I then told my wife to go get the car and they charged her $45 for looking at it.. I called them to ask them how they could charge this. A true muffler shop can do more than change parts. Then manager hung up at me. By the way I fixed it myself for under $13.00 in less than 15 minutes. I was a certified ASE mechanic. I just didn't want to do exhaust work in my driveway.

%I have a vw jetta 6 speed diesel that had a broken boot on the front axle.  Nick said it was cheaper to replace the whole thing so I did this (I don't think they even bother replacing boots anymore). The first one made a noise and needed replacing. I kept on hearing a noise with the new one but it wasn't evident when I took it to them to hear. It finally broke right off the engine. I was grateful I wasn't on the highway when this happened or else I might not be writing this. I told them I only wanted a VW replacement. He no doubt got a refund of a few hundred dollars - his cost on the original and purchased one from VW. He only gets a 15% discount from them. This cost him over $500 plus $200 for the core he didn't have. He ate it all except ~$125 he charged me for the labor that I agreed to pay. I don't blame him. He got a bad part from his supplier. VW has different axles for manual and automatic transmissions. He insisted he got the right one from the supplier. Maybe the supplier didn't have both and told him this worked or maybe the parts are inferior but Nick made good on this at his own expense.

I went to the Springfield location and they were very professional crew as I was greeted upon my arrival. They listened as I explained the noise coming from my car. Aside from the noise I was imitating, they pretty much repeated the issue back to me to confirm we both were on the same page and took my keys and went to work while I waited in waiting area.
Not much longer they come out and call me to the service desk, my first thought was "How much is it going to cost me?!" Well, the gentleman explained what they found in layman's terms that I can understand. I thought the cost of the service they provided were reasonable I would recommend them to others and I will definitely used them again to work on my vehicle.

I would say our experience with them has been positive.  They do the repair and it's done properly.  It seems to be at a reasonable price and the vehicle is ready when promised.

The are honest and do good work

One time we had a problem with the car and other business told us the price was going to be around $2,000.00 for the job we went there for a second opinion and they told us it was just a minor thing which they fixed and charged us $35.00 for the job.

They are the best! They are very honest and reliable people. If you have to leave your car they will loan you a car while your car is in the shop.
