We were very impressed about this business at first. We had had a lot of estimates and chose Rolandini after listening to what he said and how he would fix it. We knew our chimney had to be taken down, rebuilt. Since they did the $3500 job, our chimney has been leaking. We have water come through our chimney and along the wall in a bedroom where the chimney runs. We have consulted other people who all have told us this is an issue with the flashing not having been put in correctly when rebuilding the chimney. We have called and left phone messages, facebook reviews, and private messages and no one has ever called us back. Completely unacceptable that they don't respond to customer questions or complaints. After paying and guaranteeing their service, I cannot believe they will not respond to a customer question. This could have been resolved without too much of an issue but the fact that they have completely ignored the multiple messages in many ways is unprofessional to say the least.

They did an excellent job! Would definitely recommend using these guys.

These guys were fantastic!! They were so prompt. Came out the day I called them. Very pleasant and thorough.  We are going to put in a patio, so we will be calling them again!

Excellent workmanship. From inspection to repair recommendations and completion of the work, all went smoothly as far as we could see. Although some snow and freezing rain interrupted the work, they were able to adjust their schedule to complete the job as promised. A professional job.

I was also a past customer of them. That project went well, but that was years ago. Now, It didn't matter to them when I contacted them about a few more projects years later - they rudely ignored my questions sent via email. Then when they finally contacted me, I gave them one more shot to do another project. They said Ok and then never contacted me again. This company is so unprofessional to customers. It is not right that people like this that are unethical are allowed to have businesses. Many contractors should not be allowed to be servicing anyone. Contractors like Rolandini do not care about the customer or their time. By using this company, you are allowing them to act like that to anyone. I have emails to prove the communication. And they like to give excuses. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I called, mentioned I ha seem them I saw them on Angie's List and they came out, .. and then never got us a quote...  I called again and left a message... and never heard back.

Over the course of the winter the crew showed up only a percentage of time but still billed for the time, i.e. charged for services not completed.

This was for 2 rental properties that I had.

The job went well. it was estimated to take two days and the job was completed and the site cleaned up within that time period.

The work went well. Finished on time. Very satisfied with the service provided- would definitely use these guys again.

Chris and crew did an excellent job.  Our chimney looks great.  They came and did the work quietly and efficiently and cleaned up when they were finished.

Called asked for an estimate on 08/07/2014 and Chris called back in AM 08/08/2014. Came by and provided estimate at which point I decided to have the work done my Chris (impressed with his professionalism and easy manner). Scheduled work start 08/11/2014.

08/11/2014 - Crew showed up at 10AM and began work. Asked Chris how long it would take, was told a day and a half. Kept work area clear of debris.

08/12/2014 - Chris and one other crewman showed this morning at 10AM. They finished the work and chimney looks great!!

At first I thought it was somewhat expensive, BUT now that the work is complete, I am very happy and cost is a secondary concern.

A fine job and I would definitely recommend him to others.

These guys did an EXCELLENT job from start to finish. The chimney needed repair, and upon tear down it was discovered that the flu was cracked and showed evidence of a chimney fire that had led to the water leakage/damage. Loving the moisture, thousands  upon thousands of carpenter ants were eating the side of my house. They called and used an exterminator they contact when necessary , who worked the chimney and the entire house area  to get rid of the pests.They replaced/rebuilt  the damaged wood/framing and built the chimney from the foundation up, replaced the flue, poured a new cap, and the flashing. They did a fine clean up job as well.
This was all done during the July 2013 heat wave,  with almost every day reaching 95 degrees and high humidity. They worked long hours each day  and on Saturday..  They were  prompt, courteous, and no doubt excel in their trade based on the results. The price was reasonable considering the amount of labor and materials required for this job, and i would highly recommend Chris and his company for your masonry and chimney needs.  

 I telephoned this company on 7/9/2013 in response to their boastful advertisement on this list.
 I specified the project involved repair/replacement of two sets of stairs and replacemwaited the railings.
 They did not have the basic courtesy to return my call and either reject or accept the job although  this
 work falls within the advertised services.  It would appear Angies List should check their advertisers more
 carefully to save everyone time and aggravation!

From start to finish perfect. One of the best experiences we have had with getting work completed on our home. Built a new chimney for us within approx. one day. Were very professional and the work completed was even better then we expected. It was more attractive then the chimney we originally had. We would have no problems with them doing any masonry work required in the future and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Rolandini Brothers West Side Masonry & Chimney Co have reasonable prices. They are very meticulous and communicate well. They clean up when they are done for the day and are very hard working.

They completed the job they had been contracted for with excellence.
They were very courteous and knowledgeable about their craft and
