I used their services for the first time this past season. They came once a week to mow the lawn, one time after only four days, when it was clearly not needed. That should have been a sign of things to come. At the end of the season, when they came to the door and asked my son if I wanted a "final leaf cleanup". My son called me at work and asked me and I told my son to say yes. They picked up some leaves in the backyard. The grass was already dormant, so there was nothing to mow. They did not clean out between the bushes, just the leaves that were easy to get at. Imagine my shock when I received an invoice for $355.00 for mowing and leaf pick up! Mowing? It was December, the lawn was already dormant! The previous leaf cleaning service was $225.00, which at least included mowing the lawn. I called and left a message, asking for a call back to discuss the invoice, to which I received no reply. I wrote to them twice asking for a call back, again with out any reply. My last letter included a check for $150.00, as I certainly was not trying to stiff them on the bill. I just wanted to discuss an excessive invoice. Yesterday I got another invoice with finance charges and still no call back from them. I am going to pay the invoice, as they clearly have no interest in discussing this with me and it's not worth my time going to Small Claims Court to be made whole. I really find it ironic that when he came to first speak with us about doing our yard and he was in the "Sales Mode". He said "I always have my phone with me. Call me anytime." When it came down to a call back for a problem there was no response, even after repeated requests. I don't understand how someone can be so cavalier about their customers. I spent $1,700.00 with them in one season. Shouldn't that make me a valuable customer? They will never set foot back on my property again and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone else.

Bad service experience and pricing standards

Your charges were as you agreed: Snow plowing of driveway = $30.00 Shoveling of front walkway = $10.00 Salting of driveway per application = $30.00 We would only wish that you would have informed us of your dissatisfaction with our services rather than have us complete the season from Dec - March to be blind sided by a review of this nature. Business owner knew we were on vacation at the time and showed up at our residence unannounced. We subsequently received a bill for services followed by a demand for payment from small claims court. Not only were the services unauthorized, our entire lawn was torn up from the aged equipment and inexperienced staff. Please contact the BBB or myself for more information.

[Member name Removed] [Member information removed] I assume you must have been on vacation when you recevied you small claims court date after we had tried to collect payment from you for 6+ months thereafter our services were provided. You must have been on vacation again 30 days later since you never showed up to small claims court or for the 30 day payment review thereafter. Thanks again for your business & inaccurate review.
