Description of Work: ATC served as the independent project monitor to complete visual and air tests on an abatement in my home. Another company was completing the asbestos abatement in the attic of my residential home. Asbestos-contaminated vermiculite insulation had to be removed from the entire attic. Massachusetts state law requires an independent project monitor to clear the project. ATC provided the independent project monitor who had to check and clear the abatement site. The ATC monitor was prompt and thorough. Right away, he required the abatement company to re-clean the work area. Then he completed thorough visual and air tests. The visual test was so thorough, he found that some of the contaminated insulation had fallen into the walls around the second-floor bathroom tub and plumbing. I would not have known about this shoddy work without ATC. The ATC monitor also stayed to answer several of my questions and even checked a couple outlets for me--because I asked if the contaminated insulation was in any of the exterior walls. He told me the outlet boxes were all sealed. When I had follow-up questions a couple days later, the ATC monitor returned my phone call and took the time to explain the insulation issue, what he saw, and what he did at the site. I was very impressed, and it takes a lot to impress me. I only truly appreciate A-list work.
