I was extremely pleased with how it went in from an installation point of view. They were on-time, clean and thorough. With the mechanical they recommended we're already seeing a decrease in our heating bills so they were very accurate in what they recommended to us. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Gary was punctual and provided the estimate the same day. Although we were in the midst of a hot and humid stretch of weather and he was very busy, he had his crew over within a few days and finished the whole job in a day. His crew is great! The same high standards and professionalism the demonstrated when installing my new furnace last year.

Gary from Allied came over to my house to look at the furnace. He looked it over the boiler and gave me honest advise on my options. He was professional, thoughtful and told me what I needed to know regarding my situation. 
My boiler is running and will not be cold tonight.  He even asked that I call him tomorrow to give him an update on how the boiler is running. I asked what would be a good time to call and he jokingly said, "Call me anytime tomorrow, if can't answer my secretary can reach me. I don't hide and can be found. That instilled more confidence in him and the quality of work he performs.

We obtained some other quotes, and found Allied to be extremely competitive on price. Initially, we were told up to 3 weeks for installation, but they were able to complete it within 1 week after we agreed to the proposal, which was really appreciated. The work was completed without any problems, and the contractor was responsive when we had questions. After the installation, they completed and provided us with all the necessary rebate forms.

Gary showed for the estimate on time and took the time to discuss with me what I needed to accommodate my desired result. I received the estimate via mail the next day and was happy with the proposal. After accepting and signing the contract, his crew showed up exactly as scheduled. All the guys were friendly and knowledgeable and worked hard. The job was completed in two days as promised. I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

I own a SFR rental property; I was referred to Allied from another Angie's List contractor that I have used in the past.
Linda at Allied answered my call and took down my information. John returned my call promptly and gave good advice about the situation. There were some scheduling conflicts with my tenants; I called Allied back two days later. Linda again answered my call and instructed that John would call me in an hour or two. John called me within the hour and arrived at the house 15 minutes after our call.
John identified the problems quickly and called me to explain my options before performing any work. The stack damper had failed damaging both the stack damper and the main control board. John repaired the boiler and it was working again within a couple of hours. John called me to let me know everything was working correctly. Linda called immediately afterwards and processed my payment via credit card; she also took down my mailing address for the invoice.
I spoke with my tenants the following day and they were happy with everything.
I will certainly call Allied in the future and recommend them without hesitation.

It was great and always. The serviceman identified the problem and replaced all
plastic piping (it was quite old) and replaced all the original piping, tested refrigerant
level (was good). He was efficient and thorough, as always. I have been using Allied
for all air conditioning and heating for nearly 20 years. New 90 percent efficient
boiler a few years ago, my bill is nearly in half. I recommend Allied to others, who have
also employed them and are very happy.

We called Allied and scheduled the estimate for an evening after work. The owner showed up at the appointed time and took measurements and answered our questions. The written quote for all options arrived in the next few days, as promised. The decision was made to go with Allied and we contacted the office. Linda was very helpful getting us set up. On the day of the installation, the two technicians arrived on time and removed the old oil furnace. They connected most of the new gas furnace so that the heat was back on that same evening. The following day they returned and finished the installation. The technicians left the area clean and neat before leaving on both days. They did a great job.

They came with the new furnace on the van. they took the old furnace out and disposed of it. they installed the new furnace and needed to go back to their shop to make a sheet metal piece to fill a gap because the new furnace was smaller than the old one. they did that and returned quickly. they finished installing the sheet metal connector, they installed a new thermostat, showed us how to use it, cleaned up after themselves, and then were gone.
