They were very professional and helpful with ideas. Arrival time was punctual and they delivered furniture to apartment quickly without any damage. They even help us rearrange the furniture. Excellent team and would use them again without any hesitation.

I used them 15 years ago, and they are still in business. They moved my deceased mother's belongings from a third story apartment. I cut my hand and one of the mover's stopped working and took me to the emergency room, and waited there with me. I was just blown away by them. They are not cheap, but they are worth the price. I would recommend them.

The move was extremely expensive, almost 30,000 to move approximately 5 miles. The contents were not packed properly. All suggestions and requests that we made to the owner, Robert Zeller, were ignored. None of the boxes were labeled either with contents or room. The cartons and furniture was not placed in the proper room when we moved to the new house. There was a tremendous amount of breakage and theft. A-Z Moving and Storage refused to compensate us for any of the loss.

It wasn't perfect but for the money I paid, they did a great job.

I arranged this move with owner over the phone about 1 week prior to the move. When the crew arrived, I was informed by the crew chief that the fee would be $130 per hour plus a 1/2 hour travel time charge. Although the $130 rate was consistent with my conversation with the owner, the travel time fee was new but I reluctantly agreed. The move then proceeded and the crew did a good job, with no damage. It was completed in 1.5 hours but I was presented with a bill for 2.5 hours plus the 1/2 hour travel time. I was then informed (for the 1st time!) that there was a minimum of 2.5 hours. I refused to pay for this additional hour, since neither the owner nor the crew chief had mentioned this. After an argument, I said that I would only pay for the 1.5 hours plus the 1/2 hour travel time and that if they demanded more they would have to call the police or take me to court. After the crew chief called the owner, my demands were met. It became clear to me that this was a planned approach to get as much money from my 91 year old mother as possible. I believe the crew was just following orders from the owner. Shame on this company for trying to bilk a 91 year old woman! P.S. Despite the attempted scam, I don't blame the crew. In fact, I tipped each of them.

"we are honestly sorry we failed to mention the 2-1/2 hour plus travel minimum out of the tens of thousands of calls we field even one mistake is too many, we did however comply with your wishes....we try to maintain 110% attentiveness to all our customers...I am proud to say however this is the first complaint of this kind and we will because of your feed back be more aware of this..."

Recently, I sold a home in Ohio and moved to Springfield, MA where I purchased another home. While I waited to close on the new home, I lived in a small apartment and stored my furniture in a 10x20x8 storage container. After closing on the new house, I personally moved all boxes and small furniture from storage to the home. The movers were hired to move the heavy pieces of furniture (about 1/3 of the storage container). The work was done in a professional manner. Three men arrived on time and worked continuously. The rate was $130 per hour. The company manager I spoke to before the move, estimated (from what I told him remained in storage) that the move would take 2 1/2 hours with a half hour for travel at the beginning of the job. The movers and I left the storage place at the same time, but I arrived home about 20-30 minues before they did. Before leaving storage, the driver assured me he knew where he was going and didn't need directions. I didn' ask, and they didn't volunteer why it took them so long to arrive at my home. I felt like this cost me an additional $65 that was unnecessary. I didn't say anyhing because everything else about the move was very satisfactory.
