About us

Established in 1953 by William D. Pitts. In 1976, William D. Pitts retired from the day to day operations. His son, William R. Pitts now manages the day to day operations. In 1985 the company purchased Arthur. T. Milligan Plumbing Co. in West Roxbury. In ordered to better service our customers, we can provide reliable subcontractors (electrical, carpentry, hvac and ceramic tile) that have work with us over the years.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. BILLY IS RESPONSIVE AND NICE ENOUGH, BUT THE PEOPLE WORKING FOR HIM ARE SOMETHING ELSE. THEY ARE MESSY (LEFT GREASE STAINS ON WALLS AND DOORS), RUDE (COMPLAINED ABOUT WORKING CONDITIONS (NO A/C), AND SLOPPY (HAD TO COME BACK ONCE FOR FORGETTING FURNACE VENT, AND TWICE FOR HEATING SYSTEM NOT WORKING IN ALL ROOMS). THE MOST DISAPPOINTING THING IS THAT I HAVE USED PITTS FOR YEARS. HIS SERVICE, AND ATTITUDE HAS DECLINED SINCE HIS BUSINESS HAS GROWN DURING THE BOOM PERIOD. IT SADDENS ME TO SAY IT IS TIME TO FIND A NEW PLUMBER.

HE ONLY HAS AN ANSWERING SERVICE. HE WAS COURTEOUS TO US BUT NOT VERY NICE WITH THE PERSON WHOM WAS WORKING WITH HIM. HE GOT US A FURNACE THAT WE COULD GET A REBATE ON BUT THEN THE REBATE WAS DENIED. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM.
