VALVOLINE INSTANT OIL CHANGE

I took my 2005 Forrester in for an oil change. While there, I noticed the guy putting 'oil' in 2 different locations. I asked what was going on and was told that he had accidentally drained some transmission fluid, but they topped it off and all was fine. A few weeks later, I started having issues with my car shifting erratically and stalling. I took it to the dealer and learned they had taken off my transmission filter instead of my oil filter and put it back on wrong. Fortunately the dealer was able to fix it for a few hundred $'s & I did not need a new transmission. I went back to Valvoline to have them reimburse me and the manger was hostile and did not want to reimburse me. I had to wait 30 minutes while he called his manager, then I had to wait 2 weeks before the regional manager called me back. They reimbursed me to the penny of what I paid, but offered nothing more to say they were sorry. Later I got a call from the franchise guy who gave me a free oil change certificate.
