Spiros and his workers did a wonderful job painting the exterior of my house . They were efficient, courteous and professional.

I have hired Spiros for several jobs over the past few years - he does outstanding work at a reasonable price. Answers calls, punctual, efficient, extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Spiros showed up when promised and delivered as expected. As an added bonus, he was able to perform some light carpentry repairs for our home, including fixing shutters and loose siding. Our home now looks great.

Spiro is responsive, professional, and an excellent painter who clearly cares about the quality of his work. He and his crew replaced several rotted out porch railings, and painted the trim on our two family house. They show up when stated, are courteous and neat, and did a fantastic job on our house. I highly recommend Spiro and his crew for exterior painting and light carpentry work.

Spiros was very prompt and professional from the moment I reached into him. We set up a date/time for him to come out to the house to look at the rooms that I wanted painted and provided a quote within a day or two. He started our project on a day that was convenient for my family and he showed up each day when he said he would. Both rooms look fantastic and we are very pleased. We will definitely use him again for future projects and I have already recommended him to my sister.

Everything went great. S.D Painting did a very thorough, high quality job. Very satisfied with the work. In fact, the team had to navigate a very rainy week and a tight deadline to get the exterior painting done. They even came back on a weekend to finish everything up in time. Pleasant, respectful and easy to work with. I would hire them again.

SD Painting (Spiros) was excellent. Everything went smoothly from the beginning: Spiros came out to the see the home when he said he would, he communicated with us about the start time and even started a little bit early due to weather. Great to work with! A real professional and clearly cares about the quality of his work and his clients. Highly recommended!

We were very pleased to work with Spiros, Katerina and the other guys. They were prompt and the whole project went very smoothly. We were very impressed with the quality of the work and attention to detail. As well, they were really attentive to our plants. We have lots of perennials around the base of the house and along the decks, and Spiros and crew were very good about not trampling or destroying the plants. They cleaned up the paint chips every day, and did a great job of leaving no trace behind. We were also impressed with their ability to cover up our bright brick-red decks with a light blue and white solid stain. It looks so much better, and we are very happy with the work that was done.

It couldn't have gone better - Spiros came and promptly gave an estimate for house painting. His estimate was very detailed, and he was very responsive as our ideas about what needed to be done evolved. Spiros and his team were polite, upbeat, and professional. And their work is impeccable. Both of my neighbors have done house painting in the past, and, without my asking them, told me what a thorough job Spiros and his crew were doing, and praised the end result. Spiros is a true artisan, and it was a pleasure having him work on our house. He takes pride in the high quality of his work, and I'm so glad we found him! Our house looks great - because they did so much prep - replacing boards, power washing, scraping, spacking over nail holes. So much attention to detail! Thank you, Spiros!

My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of workmanship and the quality of professionalism of S.D Painting Co. Their attention to every little detail changed our home from somewhat of an eyesore to a beautiful home. We have gotten numerous compliments from the neighborhood. From the day they began until the day it was finished they came everyday (weather permitting), worked all day, and cleaned up everyday. They responded to every question quickly and, not only professionally, but kindly. I wish I had a before and after picture to show! I would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them with enthusiasm.

We are very happy with the work that they did. Our house hadn't been painted in 20 years, and so it needed a lot of prep work. They spent a week scraping and sanding everything, replacing some rotten sills, and prepping the house. They must have generated a tons of paint chips, but they cleaned it up each day so that by the time we got home from work, there was no mess. I was very impressed.

SD Painting did an exceptional job painting the interior of our house in 2014, so when it was time for exterior painting, they were our first choice. We were not disappointed. Spiros listened attentively to our needs, made some excellent suggestions, and performed the task, including some extra small repairs, in record time. spiros was on-site every day, and he consulted with us as the work progressed. The result exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to use his services again.

I can't say enough about how fantastic Spiros was to work with.  He could not have been a nicer or more professional person to work with.  His quality of work was amazing.  He was always on-time and very, very flexible, accommodating the neighbors in the condo association who, frankly, could be a bit high maintanence.  The other contractors we were working with all commented on how great of a job that he did.  I would hire him back in a minute.

Spiros responded to my e-mails in a timely manner. His written estimate was very clear and easy to understand. He came when he said he would come. He did what he said he would do. He exceeded my expectations. I have a three family home that needs a lot of TLC and I will definitely be using him again in the future!

Just plain very solid good workmanship, professionalism, and cost.
Would be top of our list to use again next time!

This is the second time we've hired Spiros. We were very pleased with his work again. Straight A for him and his team. Our house was in need of a 'regular' outside paint job (1940's house). Spiros goes about this work very professionally, price is definitely competitive (this time and last time). He makes good suggestions along the way, as necessary, and you can always count on what he says (if he says he'll come the next day at 4 to install the shutters -- then that's what he does). He's just very well organized, much better than the very majority of crafts men out there (sorry, guys, it's true too often). We wouldn't hesitate hiring Spiros again, and have recommended him already many times.

Our overall experience with SD Painting was very positive.  They did an excellent job with the prep and execution of painting the exterior of our home.  There was a fair amount of repair work that needed to be done.  They did a good job to identify which areas needed to be repaired and providing good suggestions on the best way to fix to avoid issues in the future.  The team is very detailed orientated and it shows in the high quality of their work.  SD was not the cheapest bid that we received for this job but having worked with them in the past, we knew the quality of the work that we would be getting and that was important to us.

He and his team are professional, courteous.  Our home has never looked better, and based on the care they gave our home, we our home to keep looking good.  This was our second time hiring Spiros.  He had done some interior work a few years ago.  
Spiros is a professional painter with high standards, and those who work with him have to meet these standards.  We will continue to use SD Painting whenever we have a painting job.

Spiros arrived on time for the estimate and did a complete walk through of all the work we needed done.  Estimate arrived as promised and work scheduled in a timely manner. The cost was extremely fair for the work we needed done. The work was completed on time and in a highly professional manner.  Final cost was per the estimate.
This the fourth time we contracted with Spiros.  The work is always completed with exceptional quality and attention to detail.  He and his crew leave the job site meticulously clean.  I can't say enough good things about SD Painting and have referred to neighbors and colleagues on multiple occasions.  To sum up.......if you need a paint job done, call Spiros.  You will not find a company that will do the work better -- at any price.

The front stairwell of our triple decker was a mess, with lots of holes from moving furniture in and out and repeated bad patching jobs.  Spiros' estimate was half of other estimates we got, he responded promptly to all emails and phone calls, and the job that he and his assistant did was beautiful.  They patched holes, sanded, and primed on a Saturday and came back on Sunday to paint.  They completely exceeded my expectations with the job.  There were areas that had been re-patched and painted multiple times that had left big ugly bumps on the walls.  These were completely made smooth and now I don't even know where they were.  Best of all, I was doing some of my own patching and painting inside the apartments on the same day, and while they were waiting for their stuff to dry, they came in and helped me with sanding, painting, and stain removal on the areas that I was doing for no additional charge.  For any painting jobs that are beyond my own ability in the future, Spiros will definitely be my go-to guy.

Spiros arrived for the estimate on time and did a thorough review of all the work to be done - giving excellent advice.  He was able to start the job earlier than expected and completed the job in the time he estimated.  This was the third time we have used the services of SD Painting and were as thrilled with the work as we were the previous two times.  Spiros and his two men crew arrived every day on time and were courteous and professional.  The work was impeccable with complete attention to detail.  Everyday they left the work areas clean and functional. Outstanding effort by all!  As with one of the other reviews, I would give SD Painting an A+ if possible and have recommended this company multiple times.

If I could, I would give Spiros an A+ . I think he's an outstanding
craftsman. He's efficient but not rushed. He gave me very good advice
along the way, and fixed a couple of things that we hadn't even talked
about before, but ended up looking beautiful. He was patient as I
changed color choices along the way. He was pleasant and reliable to
interact with by phone or email. His bid was competitive. All in all we
had a superb experience with him, much like all the other reviewers.

Spiros responded quickly and gave us a quote by the date specified. We were crunched for time as we were moving in and wanted the painting done before the movers brought our furniture in. It was a busy time for him but he managed to get our rooms completed and came back for touch up work only, once the furniture came. He was meticulous, does high quality work, and takes a lot of pride in the detail (not painting around hardware but removing it to paint and replacing it after, also very neat and tidy). It all turned out fantastic, very clean lines. Spiros was a pleasure to work with, very easy to plan with and discuss ideas. We would certainly hire him again
