However we had several issues:
-The workers left several boxes of material at the site that we had to dispose.
-The installer cut one of our downspouts during installation and did not redirect the water. Months later we realized what had happened when we saw rain water spilling from the side of our house.
-Two years later we had drainage issues that occurred because the drainage tubing outside had been attached using duct tape, which I was told isn't the recommended way of attachment. The glue on the tape wore off, and the drainage became clogged and the excess water leaked out of our unit and onto our floor.
I feel that overall the company did a good job but corners were cut.
Not sure if it was his adjustment, but my gas bill has decreased this winter, despite we have a longer and colder winter this year. I'm really glad they sent the right guy!
I thought the technician Freddy was a good and responsive technician. I thought he took a comprehensive look at our system, though I did have to prod him to take a look at a couple of things on the system.
Dealing with Michelle in the office was also good; I thought she was nice and responsive and she was able to accommodate a weekend appointment for the servicing.
We had an inspection / prevenative servicing from another company 2 years ago, and they thought the system needed all kinds of work for hundreds of dollars. We didn't listen to them, as we thought they were trying to upsell us, and in any event, the system has been fine during the last 2 years. Regional Air agreed with the assessment although they did point out 1 or 2 things that are problematic on our 15 year-old system.
"(deleted member name) We are not a mold remediation contractor. We only were at your home for a Preventative Maintence Inspection on the operation and functioning of your unit. Our technicians are hvac technicians not abatement and mold remediation experts. I am sorry if you feel that our service was less than satisfactory . Clearly from the engagement of our services you were looking for more than what you contracted us for. We explained this in detail to you that further exploration is a diagnostic call not a pmi inspection . I truly take pride in our work and our technicians . Mike Broydrik salesman was extremely professional and detail oriented. He was very thorough in his prespenation. Jen followup with and questions . Prompt and courteous. Eric and Bobby worked feverishly and performed superb work from the initial day. They were very clean and picked up after themselves. Very knowledgeable and patient with us. Truley wonderful experience
