Mike was great! He helped me to find the piece--choose between two possibilities. It was quick, easy, pleasant. Now I can vacuum again.

He listened to my reason for bringing the vaccuum in, and then took it in back to test it out for himself. He couldn't find anything wrong with it, and even pulled one of his floor models out and plugged that in to compare it with. He said he couldn't hear a difference. I could still detect a slight difference, but was relieved it wasn't as big a difference in comparison as I had thought. I was satisfied that he didn't think anything was wrong with the vaccuum and so no repair was made. He refused to charge me for the 'exam'. As I was getting ready to leave, I asked for some advice for when I'm ready to buy a new vaccuum. He gave some great information and didn't try to pressure me into a sale. I would definitely shop there for a new vaccuum and would go back if this one needed real fixing in the future.

I brought my Electrolux to them after moving here from New Mexico. In NM I had looked for a certified Electrolux dealer but they turned out to be worthless and costly as the problem I went to have fixed returned after a few uses but I had moved to MA, so too bad for me. Mr. Sweeper fixed the problem one year ago for a reasonable price and the vacuum is working great still, in addition they showed me that I was using it incorrectly by only using the cloth bag and they sold me bags, so they also won me over with that and now I get my bags from them too.
My next experience was with an expensive Blue Air Filter system that did not work from one day to the next. They called me to tell me the machine was working but that I hadn't pulled the cord properly into the machine.....embarrassing on my part, however I was thoroughly impressed because they could have told me just about any song and dance about problems with the motor and I wouldn't have known any the less. As far as I am concerned they have totally proven to me to be the kind of upstanding and outstanding company I want to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Vacuum cleaner was not working properly. I brought it into the store without an appointment. The unit was fixed on the spot for only $14.00. I was expecting to pay a lot more. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional.

The vacuum itself was over $500 so when it became sluggish after only about 13 months I brought it in. I don't really know what was done besides the plug but it's still going strong after another year of use. The gentleman was very courteous and he engaged my 6 year old grandson in conversation and let him vacuum up a dead bumble bee. I can't imagine going anywhere else for service.

The electric power brush on my central vac was not working. Mike plugged it in directly and confirmed that it was working, so the problem was elsewhere. He didn't charge me. I brought the hose in the next day; Mike checked that as well, at no charge, and found it was faulty. He offered to change the plug, just in case that was the problem. It wasn't, and he didn't charge me. Because a new hose is so expensive, he asked if I would leave the hose overnight and he would take it apart the next day. Unfortunately, it was too far gone and Mike was unable to fix it. He offered to order me a new hose, but the price was beyond my budget. He didn't want to charge me for the work, but I felt he deserved something and gave him $20, which he really appreciated.

I have gone to his shop before and every time I get wonderful service. He is very talented and handy. I really like the job he did on my sewing machine, its runs great. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family.

The people at Mr. Sweeper are nice and know their vacuums. I dropped mine off and asked them several questions about the type of vacuum I should be using for my "pet friendly" household. The guy took a long time to talk to me about the Dyson's and Miele machines (granted they are like $500 vacuums so I can see why they would want to talk me into one!) and why they would be better than the vacuum I already had. I decided not to buy a new one just yet, and got my vacuum cleaner back a week later. The smell was gone and the suction was back to normal. At some point I will buy a new machine, and one of the nice things they will do is buy your old one and credit you some money to a new one if you buy it from them. All in all they were affordable, knowledgeable and helpful.
